TV missles going right through

lately ive been tryin to get better with attack choppers because jets are too easy to be good with most of the time.but im just wondering what is the the key to hitting other heli's??ive heard aim for the tail but i still get some that go right through,and if its a straight shot through the cockpit,it usually goes through,so just wondering if theres certain spots,or is it just lag?server?any help is appreciated.thx.

Play on LAN servers (ping <25) and change your Interpolation settings. Wont go into details now, do a search plz

Well, to stay on topic and be polite: aim for the tail. The hitboxes lag behind, so if you aim at the front of a moving chopper (when you have a mid/high range ping) it's normally going to go right through.

Best thing you can do is practice - it will help you learn where to aim while simultaneously increasing your skill with maneuvering the missile.

Aiming for the tail isn't strictly true.

I normally aim for where the chopper was roughly half a second before. Probably less in most cases actually, but it all depends on the server and yours and you opponents ping.

My best advice is to use the hellfires instead. If you think jets are too easy, you'll soon reach the same conclusion with TV missiles.

Aim for where it was moments ago rather than where it is and where it's going.

The only limit I can think of is range. Aside from that any vehicle (including jets, helos and AA) can be taken down.

That sounds like a fun challenge. Might have to wait 'till I fight Sloi though. Obviously there will be no money involved (mainly because I have none), but I play for the glory anyway.

ive known allot of people who I thought were legal but it turned out they hacked\used macroes

and aren't you the guy that got cought hacking, it was all over the bf2s forum?
