whats a good game??

hey,

im looking at getting another game... whats a GOOD one i can buy.. i dont like sci fi type games or anything like that... my favourite type games are like bf2 and cod4.. cod4 being pretty much my idea of a perfect game.. so what is similar to that but a bit different??

P.S. not TF2...i just dont like the look of it...

heh its ok...im going to get the new GTA for xbox and frontline for pc..

u can close the thread if u want :) or maybe post some good game ideas for other people who may be in the market for a few new ones..

i recomend GTA >.< i cant wait!

Dont bother with FFoW nor MoH:AA. Get R6:V2!! i got it cant stop playing! btw its kind of realistic so i don't know how you feel bout that.

When BF2 was first released, its biggest problem (only major issue) was server crashes.

Take a look at BF2142, it is BF2 with improved balance and teamwork.
Even though it is set in the future there isn't much sci-fi over the gameplay, or how it looks for that matter.
It still based around firearms and not laser and lightsabers.

ETA: And as you can see from the reply from Chris, it is also a game loathed by the Jet-whores that ruined BF2 :)

Anyway there is no accounting for taste, but you can always try the demo.

Balance by literally flattening everything to zero and teamwork by making everything cost a point.

The first one is just lazy, the second one I agree with as its a way to keep lemmings playing the way its supposed to.

Its a game without personality.

Here we go again... All games can't be the way you like them Chris.

I'd recommend BF2142 too infact. Great gameplay and it's a lot of fun with a good squad.

Oh, seems you already made up your mind xX5N1P3RXx. Have fun with GTA IV, MOH:A is pretty dead though. :hmm:

I agree Moh:AA is pretty dead, go for BiA:HH for the PC when it comes.

I would recommend 2142 as well, originally I never intended to play it but I got it off my Uncle for free because he found he needed net to play it fully

And I actually enjoyed it, its balanced, a lot of fun, but it does suffer the same engine and netcode drawbacks but thats the engine; I found it more satisfying to play and even the gunships arent too bad providing you are well trained

Pity they never managed to balance BF2 or fix it, I would still be playing it otherwise
