Re: buying
As a matter of fact, I have already pre-ordered it, and if you're going to buy it, you might as well do so now...
It's a great deal cuz, then you also get the sniper rifle unlock code, and you get the chance to download and play the single and multiplayer demo on May 29th, unlike those who don't pre-order it, will have to wait until June 5th. Either way, you can get another unlock exclusive weapon by reaching rank 4 in the demo, yeah... I'm PUMPED!
:yay:

Re: buying
Well that sniper rifle that you get for preordering is actually worse than the other ones. i know this cause im a fanboy so they told me that the sniper didnt compare to well against the other ones. so really your only getting the demo before other people and a bad sniper rifle.

Maybe for the most part, but don't jump to conclusions too quickly. :p Check this link out: clicky clicky!Originally posted by TroyGentryWell that sniper rifle that you get for preordering is actually worse than the other ones.
Your right, it might not be the BEST sniper rifle to choose from but let's take a look. First of all, it's free and anybody can get it just by pre-ordering. (Count your blessings...
) It's semi-automatic and very accurate which makes up for the lack of damage that the other rifles posses. But just because the damage isn't at maximum doesn't mean it sucks. It's got an average rate of fire and so it's definently worth it... Just a different rifle made for different situations.

Is 'they' EA? Who told you that it didn't compare well?Originally posted by TroyGentryso they told me that the sniper didnt compare to well against the other ones.
I'm just curious, because in basically every video, tutorial, and interview with the makers, it is emphazised that the gameplay and weapons in Battlefield: Bad Company are extremly well balenced.
Like I said, it depends on your game strategy, tactics, and situation that you are in. Different rifles are made in real life for different situations, and these are real rifles based on the real ones. I'm not saying that they are exactly the same as the real ones though, granted, it's a game anyway, but seriously - the goal in mind was to recreate a true battlefield, which I believe they did.

No, you're not.Originally posted by TroyGentryso really your only getting the demo before other people and a bad sniper rifle.
There is no such thing as a bad sniper rifle, unless it doesn't kill people when you shoot them...
Sorry, but I gotta defend the truth!
What you're getting is...
1. A GREAT demo for a fantastic game, including both single and multiplayer that you can download early for FREE!
2. And a good sniper rifle... (It's the only sniper that has 4x zoom)
Have you pre-ordered it yet?Originally posted by DTPleeoswald View Posti will for the 360
I'm asking everybody, because I want to find more people I know to add as a friend on Live, so we can get a game on sometime in the B:BC demo.

lol. It IS a triple post!Originally posted by StoneCold313 View Postwow... That's like a triple post...
I did, but Internet Explorer was having issues so it closed... twice. :dead: I had to navigate my way back to the page, and so as a result, it didn't post my other two posts with my first one. Thx for asking!Originally posted by StoneCold313 View PostWhy you didn't just answer in one post?
It's all good!
Only reason I didn't get the Gold Edition of BF: BC is mainly becuase...Originally posted by Twlight View PostI might pre-order it as you get the gold version if you do.
1. You're also paying for the 'special' packaging and materials the game cover is made out of... :|:
2. All the bonus stuff like the tutorial videos and things... Eventually someone will post them on YouTube.
 It's true!
So I decided I can get everything I need out of just the regular version.

Re: buying
ok i love the triple post!(not really it made me pretty mad) semi auto sniper, thats just for the people that cant get a one shot one kill or who have horrible aim. BOLT ACTION FTW! and a fanboy is a person that likes a particular console or somethin like that. http://www.xbox360fanboy.com . And when i said "they told me" i meant the people on the Fanboy podcast said that it was not good. i dont blame you for preodering it, im just not one the people that is up to spending 5 dollars for somethin that is not as good as other things in the game and to get as demo a couple days earlier.

Well I see where you're going with this and again, it's a game so if you were shot by a semi-auto sniper rifle in real life... Besides visiting the emrgency room, you'd be ready to retire and get physical treatment so you could walk again. I guess, that would be true, if you got shot in the leg... :hmm: and of course, it is very possible that you wouldn't survive.Originally posted by TroyGentry View Postsemi auto sniper, thats just for the people that cant get a one shot one kill or who have horrible aim. What kind of snipers aim for the leg? i dunno, but don't ask me.
Anyway, bolt action is just as good, but gets the job done, like you say, in one or two shots, but so can the semi-auto. For example, the barret 50 cal can take down choppers and uses armour-piercing rounds, so yeah - killing a soilder with just kevlar on is no problem, but the other rifle, (semi-automatic) is made for taking down infantry, so again, it could take you down and it's a lot lighter than your barret.
Well I knew what a fanboy was...Originally posted by TroyGentry View PostAnd when i said "they told me" i meant the people on the Fanboy podcast said that it was not good.
Podcast? Silly fanboys! :p

Yeah, the only reason I'm really excited about getting the demo access early and pre-ordering the game is that...Originally posted by TroyGentry View Posti dont blame you for preodering it, im just not one the people that is up to spending 5 dollars for somethin that is not as good as other things in the game and to get as demo a couple days earlier.
1. I know that eventually I'm going to buy the game anyway.
2. I will be gone all summer, because I'm going to Europe for vacation, and I will leave a day before Battlefield: Bad Company comes out, so when I heard about the demo, I got really excited, and wanted it ASAP, cuz i won't get to play the game until school starts again...
But Europe is gonna be way sweet!
