ok i love the triple post!(not really it made me pretty mad) semi auto sniper, thats just for the people that cant get a one shot one kill or who have horrible aim. BOLT ACTION FTW! and a fanboy is a person that likes a particular console or somethin like that. http://www.xbox360fanboy.com . And when i said "they told me" i meant the people on the Fanboy podcast said that it was not good. i dont blame you for preodering it, im just not one the people that is up to spending 5 dollars for somethin that is not as good as other things in the game and to get as demo a couple days earlier.

I gotta agree that Bolt Action FTW!

But Semi-Auto snipers ain't only for noobs. Talented snipers use them as well. They are outstanding when you are in the frontline and there is like 5+ guys running towards you...

But anyways,

can someone clear this up for me(again)...

If i pre-order the normal version, and don't take part of those "marketing free gun" thingys, do i still get the same guns when i rank up to the end?

All the "marketing free gun thingy's" will be available to everyone just that they will have to unlock them as they rank up rather than having them for free to start with.

Here's the list and how to get the free guns.

QBU88 sniper rifle - Pre-order the game (gold or normal version)
M-60 LMG - Sign up for the newsletter
F2000 assault rifle - Sign up to the veteran program
UZI SMG - Play the demo
USAS12 Shotgun - Check player stats online

Alright... I think i got it now...

I just changed my preorder from the Gold Version to the Normal... And the dude who i spoke to said that they have that unlock for the sniper rifle already...

Now i just need to figure out why i haven't got the M60 unlock from the newsletter, allthough i have signed up for it twize. I guess it comes later... hopefully...

In the Gold version you apparently get:
- 5 new weapons
- Behind the scenes documentary
- 8 multi-player strategy videos
- 4 orchestral track and more

I had to wait a couple of days before I recieved my code from signing up to the newsletter. Also check your junk mail to make sure it hasn't gone in there.

I just got the message, but it's not definetly showing up right...

Besides, the mail i use for these kinda things, doesn't have the luxery of spam/junk mail filter..

Yeah, you participate to all of those things. You get an code from each one, what you will enter in-game to unlock the guns...

That's something you left out, but I just wanted to make sure you guys knew that. You won't get the UZI from the demo unless you get the 4th rank.

And yes, you can do all these for free, besides of course, pre-ordering the game. Also, EA has said that the unlock codes will not be mailed out until the week of release. Some might have received their email for the m60 code already, like I did, but the sniper one for sure won't be sent out sometime around the release. I'm guessing it will be before the launch.

Like BrokenMachine said, yes you can, but I would still participate in the Find All Five programs because they're free, and ranking to the top might take a while considering Battlefield multiplayer is focused on the ranking aspect of the game.

Eh I'm going order it from the store, since most of the retailers that sell it with the sniper unlock code, do not ship overseas, with the exception of Amazon, which does ship BF:BC, but it may be near a month till I get my copy after release, and if you take in to account the shipping fee, customs, duties and other fees, it may work out to be the same price as buying it over here.

Yeah, I though about going with Amazon but ended up going with the EA store.

But the EA store doesn't ship the exclusive keychain...
