We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
If you want to play on a large conquest/armor map with a competent commander, look me up on one of the other NfB servers. I have the honor of currently being ranked 130th in the world as commander, but I am moving up steadily.
Wow, how can you guys tolerate doing commandering over and over again!? I would like to play with a good commander, so that I don't have to be.
The orders the commander gives are a pain in the ***. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten killed and stuff because the dimwit commander is busy "ordering" my squad to attack harbor while we're taking EU or Ruins. Then he puts another one down, I ask him to stop quite kindly in the VoIP and he says "No" then continues to be a royal pain in the ***.
i enjoy the squad leader position caus i have people spawn on me, i get to use special gadgets, my com rose voice is much more alpha male-esque and i can talk to the commander. Then also since i tend to not rush flags like a dumbtard the people in the squad tend to stay alive a bit more too.

Falconman is in Australia and our servers are in LA so he pings about 200 to them. He can command and the ping doesn't really affect him at all. But when he plays the Aussie servers he goes hunting with his Clark and tears them up.:evil:
haha i had the opposite happen to me. i was playing in Q clan titan server and i kept issuing orders to Q clan squad (a full squad mind you) to the silo they were attacking but the squad leader kept hitting page down. now i understand if he has his own orders but he has no orders, yet keeps paging down on my orders and insists on playing with no orders whatsoever. i really don't understand those idiots that reject orders but don't issue one of their own. when i told him to follow my orders, the squad leader banned me from the server. i am not sure his squad mates knew of this, but i would have found it odd if i was in a squad and the leader didn't assign orders.
there seem to be a lot of little kids that have a problem accepting orders from commanders for some reason. i guess they feel like they shouldn't have to listen to anybody and have some sort of inferiority complex even though this is just a video game.
I am a fighting commander (so sue me), because it is my firm belief that everyone playing the game has no idea what the fudge they are supposed to be doing... With the exception of some people, who I add to my buddy list because they understand how to play.
But for the most part I squad lead. I'm a good squad leader too, unless I am in a gunship. If thats the case, I normally make a squad and lock it :|:
If you really want "Teamwork" and to fully utilize the teamwork-oriented system that 2142 has in place, join a clan and play some matches (or just raid other servers). Its just not worth the effort (Time+Dedication / Fun) in a pubbie server IMO.
I played TTP server as commander once, if I recall correctly. The teams were so unevenly balanced. My team just kept taking silos and pretty much controlled the whole map. We destroyed their titan with almost a full shield on our own titan. Good for me, but not much fun when your team dominates by so much.

he could go into the usercon and change his ping compensation to match his ping on your server that might help him out im not sure though.

i just like to kill people and stay alive and socialize with a few people while im doing it. its nice to have a team win but i don go bonkers over it. ive been in a few clans and yeah you have good communication but sometimes the best communication and teammwork will occur with some random person in your squad without even exchanging words. you both just know what to do and it turns out all right.
A good commander can really make a big difference, especially in conquest. But not really thru the giving of orders. The best commanders I've seen, spot all the time, drop UAVs for productive squads, drop supplies on friendly vehicles in trouble, and call out where the enemy is not "hey squad 2, you're near silo 5 and on one is there. But trying to get every one to do exactly what you want them to is not only hopeless, but a waste of your time. Really most of the time, one or two decent squads, doing halfway decent is enough to win in a pub, Just give them support and let them do their thing.

I agree... However when I find a person/people like this, I add them to my buddy list (thus not making them random pubbies :p). I am always a bit pessimistic (sorry), but it is possible to find smart pubbies. Its just rare(ish) as opposed being stuck with total idiots. Meh.

You nailed it there, if you want the best teamwork you can get join a clan. Clans in leagues are good to join, though sometimes most have skill requirements to play matches and stuff. Its the best way to go, even playing pub with members is way better than by yourself with the clueless pub players all over the place.

I have the same problem with them really. Everytime me and clanmates try to play they ban us. Usually its for high ping, they only had the balls to ban us for "aimbotting" once a long time ago.
