problems with the bf2sp64 mod

i downloaded it a few weeks ago but it still doesnt seem to install. it gets halfway then it closes and there is nothing.is it that i must only have the first patch? if so can someone direct me to another one. (oh and im also using vista)

if i recall you need the latest patch to be able to run this mod there is no older versions for the 1st patch.

Which mod are you using, Viathon's old mod or xstax981's much newer mod? xstax981's mod is currently at v2.32 and works with the latest patch and the Highway Tampa map.

Sounds like Viathon's mod. You really don't want to use that; it was created before modders had the tools to actually change the bot-usable area of the map (navmesh).
Get this instead:

It's even got SP added to Kubra Dam, Mashtuur, Wake, Jalalabad, and Tampa maps.
