My argument applies to Dalian somewhat, as well. I still feel that the most balanced and fun map is Daqing Oilfields. From an air standpoint, the jets are a good match. There is Mobile AA to keep the air assets on their toes. There is a pretty long draw distance, so snipers can be happy. The dark terrain fits well with the camo worn by ground pounders, so they can live a bit longer.
I just dislike any map with a carrier. At least on Oman both teams start out with CPs on the mainland, but the carrier is still lame.

Change minimap from "static" to "rotate with player"

Turn minimap transparency up so you can see through it, comes in handy when you're in the air.
