    Theres no real statistics system.

Of course, I'm still enjoying the game, by playing differently every time. I never stay on the same server for longer than a couple hours.

Hell, I'm still having a blast playing as a Ninja and doing nothing but knifing people.

Not me, I enjoy the game. I have my clan buddies and when they are not online, Ive made some friends at some other clan servers, so I go on there and have a good time with them as well.

We also mix up our server every few weeks with game styles and maps. When we can tell what map is going to be next, its time to change it.

Its kinda like visiting friends up the road

The lack of teamwork/squad play is the only reason I get bored at times.

But due to UltraStats, I enjoy playing to keep my rank up on my servers.

I can play CS:Source (or omg CS 1.2 back in college) for days on end. I mean we went to LAN parties and played friday afternoon until sunday then I went home, threw up from exhaustion, slept a few hours and played again at night.

I think whomever above said CoD4 feels like a solo game due to lack of communication is 100% correct. The game really rewards run & gun style play like never before it seems and people respawn SO fast with their team there's basically no penalty for dying. Even if you play one of the modes where you don't respawn until the end of the round I have found communication is almost nonexistant unlike in CS or any battlefield game.

I played it a lot on PC and it got pretty boring. But I moved to the 360 and it's like a whole new game.

It gets dull sometimes but I'm more of a fan of (as an example) BF2142's larger maps and atmosphere, you get the point.

My tip is to play different styles of games so you don't get bored with one too much.

TF2 for when I just want some fun
BF2142 when I want teamwork and squadplay (dogtags are also fun)
CoD4 for general fun on small maps
CSS when I want to discuss the mysteries of life with an aimbotter
TMU when I don't feel like killing people

...and Crysis when I want to blow someones head off with a gauss rifle

If you don't feel like playing another game, try to snipe on a small tdm shipment server. If you have good aim, it's surprisingly effective in softcore.

Same here BF2 If I feel like jet-chopper whoring, BF2142 if I fell like destroying titans and fighting with Walkers, CSS when Iąm really bored, COD4 most of the time cuz it rocks, crysis when I fell like my machine needs a kick in the but.

snipe, u are completely right, the only reason that is though is because the only means of communication on the 360 is using the headset... if people on PC actually used their mics or even keyboards he game would be a lot more fun, the only time i have ever seen words on my screen from other ppl is someone calling someone else a noob or complaining the whole time... but if ppl actually COMUNICATED it would 100s of times better

Now that's an interesting comment...can you elaborate? What do you find is different, and more enjoyable on the 360 (more VOIP, smaller server sizes, etc)?

i found COD4 boring recently, and i thaught id play the single player again, and its boring after youve allready done it, the multiplayer is getting boring, this is probably because i played COD2 alot before i got COD4, so it just seemed the same just with better graphics and weapon mods.

ive gone back to playing BF2 mods, in particular Forgotten hope 2, its like cod2, just with bigger maps, and slightly more teamplay

For those that played CoD2, are there more maps or something that makes that game less boring than CoD4?

What is it that makes CoD2 great and CoD4 meh, after a period of time?

I just find the overall gameplay more fun. I also play it with a lot of friends from school. I also like the fact that I get a constant 60 FPS unlike the PC where I get 30. :)

That part (and the consistent fps of the Xbox360) I can totally understand. As I've said before, the type of players you're on a server with makes a big difference. A lot of pub servers can become annoying almost instantly.

i find with the 360 that its more VOIP so more teamplay and takes a bit more skill (im a fan of the 360, but not a fan of the thumbsticks :S)
