Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Well I'm still really new to BF2 so I wanna check out PR. I'm still not very good so I especially hate trying to do everything myself because I can't find a good squad. So, I was wondering what PR is like and I was hoping you guys could give me some tips to help me get started.
add me on x-fire : gazzthompson161190 .... im having some problems with PB at the moment but ill squad lead u or i know alot of the good squad leaders out there so will show u the best squads to join
Is there really a need for the mud slinging around here?
The guy asked for tips for the mod, not for people to start a fight over who can't play what.
Just help him or don't post?
Sorry I wasn't clear I have been playing BF2 for a few weeks but I hate running around by myself. I've already played like 14 hours of bf2 vanilla and special forces. I loved making friends on console games like Socom and playing together so I hoped PR would be more team based.
I'm from US also.
Well I was just playing my first game and I noticed two things. One its a little hard to tell who is one what team and second its hard for me to tell where I'm at. Any tips for either of these things.
Sounds like PR is more your thing. As for the problems you mention, its really down to experience, you get used to it after a while. However you can open the map at any time (delay though) or just ask your SL whats going on.
Enjoy.:)
PS: Don´t be put off by a bad game, I have them sometimes. But once your on a good server with good players then you will have a great game.:)
Identifying who is who is half the fun really. It all ties into the second question as to where you are.
When you are operating vehicles you have a minimap, like SatNav, but on foot you only have the capslock function to bring the map up (incidently, tat is where you find tickets and time left and turning map on and off resolves the known bug of flag capture zone marker on main screen not appearing or updating)
Once you've learnt to use cover for a few seconds of safety every so often you will find using the map less stressful. Over time you'll get used to the maps and build up better situation awareness.

USMC = dark
MEC = light
china = dark green
UK = lighter green
also, when u spawn at ur RP and there are enemys about best thing to do is wip out ya map and look where ur team is in relation to where ur heading.
Alright thanks guys I have one more question I couldn't figure out. I joined a squad that seemed to be sticking together and when I tried to spawn I clicked the spawn point closest to them. We were squad one and the spawn point said 2. So I guess I can't use it cause I spawned on the other side of the map only to have to run across the map to try and find them and always dying in the process. Anyone have any tips on how to keep up with your squad.
Also my xfire and bf2 name are totalkaos12 so if anyone adds me I'll be playing almost all today.
yea ask for a temporary rally point, which is a RP he spawns ASAP with no thought about hiding it, but just to get one down for squad members to spawn, then when closer to target u can get a proper one down
