I love how you get the purple heart in BF2 for dieing, like wtf is up with that lol.

Think of it this way:
If you died a lot, this means people killed you a lot, so they had more fun because of you.
Purple Heart is a reward for being so entertaining…

There is no shame in having a Purple Heart.

In most cases, such as myself, the Purple Heart is usually earned by accident within your first few weeks of signing up to the game. It's just a way of saying, "Hey, I was once a noob and didn't start a new account".

As for going out of your way to get one and the enemy refusing to kill you, then....... :laugh::laugh::laugh:
