Most reports are saying it will be out before the end of 2008. That could change of course, but it's likely going to be much less than 2 yrs away.

Agreed. Adding vehicles would probably make it closer to COD:UO. I'm not a vehicle fan, myself, unless vehicles and infantry-only servers have a clear separation...without it, I think it lends itself to way too much whoring of tanks and such.

i think cod4 would be nice with infantry vehicles like hummers and technicals but really nothing beyond that.

No. Look at United Offensive.

If done properly, it can be good. The BF franchise did vehicles to have vehicle combat. United Offensive had vehicles so that it would incorporate both vehicle and infantry warfare.

Depends on how balanced its setup.. good anti tank and equally skilled players on the other side running armor as well would not allow it to turn into the whoring your talking about. Thats the problem with Noob kids and how BF2 was screwed up. We had a pretty damn good game with a few bugs but thats it...it took those noob kids that think like this to cause the BH to get nerfed, no jumping and shooting, The grenade launcher was turned into a rubber ball shooter.. I mean WTF was DICE doing when they listened to those noob kids that did nothing but complain about getting owned due to their own lack of skills and not how the game was made.

I see COD5 as being nothing short of a flop or greatness..it could swing either way and alot of that depends on how much Blizzard gets a hold of the controls. WoW is the worst damn thing to ever be made..does nothing but ruin peoples lives due to being nothing more than a addictive drug.
