I only used it for 1 or 2 rounds when I first unlocked it. Then I realized I get a LOT more kills with DI or steady aim. I don't have a problem with martyrdom really but anyone interrested in really dominating a map doesn't use it. If you're close enough to use it you're probably not getting many kills.

I used it when I unlocked because all those bastards kept killing me with it. Too bad after 1 round I got pissed for never getting a kill, never used it again.
I use steady aim or Double Penetration now

I probably only used Martyrdom a couple times. Better perks out there. I haven't even used Last Stand yet either.

I don't like people who use it, and I don't like people who whine about it. It's part of the game, and if someone wants to use it fine. It's the old camping argument again. That being said......in my limited experience (I'm currently a 2nd Lt.) with COD4, I've decided that using martyrdom and getting most of your kills with a grenade launcher is a good way to be a douchebag. If it happens to me, I grit my teeth and keep my mouth shut, but I come really close to asking people to man up.

Example: I was on a server yesterday and one player was racking up the kills with his grenade launcher. After a while I got used to it, figured out his style and did my best to avoid him. At one point in the game I was dicking around, not being careful and looking down the sight over the wall. I was sitting there way too long and he killed me. Fair enough, but of course it was with the grenade launcher...not because my stupidity gave him the time to switch to it (which would have been funny), but because that's what he has on all the time. He could knifed me, headshot, whatever. Nope...noob tube.

I never used to use it and i got REALLY REALLY damn sick of everytime i killed a guy id be blown up.. so i decided to use it for the mere reason to p**s off the other players lol... what i find funny is 68% of the people on this site say they dont use it yet pretty much EVERY person i have played has used it... but i do play this game on xbox so maybe thats why :p

P.S. dont rag on me for playing it on console either! lol soon as i get the money ill buy it on pc and play some REAL players
