Do YOU use Martyrdom?

I used it at first. It was funny, until i begun to use more useful perks. After i completed the martydom challenges, i stopped using it.

Same here. Mildly satisfying to get a kill after you're dead (usually the guy who killed you in the first place, to boot), but after I finished the challenges, there were plenty of other perks I felt were/are more useful.

Still, it's a good one... I'm certainly chicken to go running past the corpse of a guy I just downed for fear of eating that grenade, so I may linger a few seconds first to make sure one doesn't go off. Sometimes that makes me a target for somebody else and I end up dying anyway. :p

Yeah, I'm going to waste my tier three perk slot on that useless junk.

Unless you're a Shipment addict, there's little to no reason for it beyond level... well, whenever you begin unlocking tier threes.

On one of my kits, so yeah... But that was before I hit 55 and got the Marty challenges done. I should probably change it, Im sure I can put the slot to better use.

Edit: Checked my kits and I actually dont use it :laugh: I do have one Last Stand though.

i cannot go ONE single day without playing now, and seeing someone in the game screaming about A) Martyrdom and how n00b it is B) Grenade Launcher Attachments and how "unskilled" you have to be to use it, and of course C) Camping, but that last one isnt the issue at hand.

Ok, lets address Martyrdom. Why did IW put it in the game? Honestly, these guys made a pretty killer game, and i dont think they would of let some "super ghey n00b perk" pass all through testing, or even the patches we've seen thus far if it was BAD. To be Frank, although im Jason, it is a "tactic" used by certain unstable forces in the world. It is real, although in certain instances in the game unrealistic, yet it is REAL. The mind frame behind it is "if i cant kill you, i will die trying". What the fvck is so bad about that?

I think that it was a pretty sharp intuitive idea to introduce into the at times, mundane shooters we all have played. If you want to be a bad guy, IW simply gave you an option to be a true bad guy. Cheers to them, i can honestly and openly admit that i use the shat out of it, it is on at least 3 of my kits, and i dont know how many people STILL have not learned you dont run over someone you just shot down, or immediately ESCAPE if you brought someone down close to you. :nod::dead::salute:

No, to both of those,

BUT, you can shoot it in mid air I was playing around throwing it at my clanmates and I threw one and they shot it right in front of me, killing me. I LAUGHED so hard!

Used to use it until I got other perks and got my martydom challenges done...Use staedy aim now.

Funny thing was I was shooting a guy only to have his buddy shoot me before he died. On kill cam both came and were jumping around my body to both go boom.
