I guess this is too late, But Walmart Security would be willing to sponsor a 64 player server through MyIS and pick up the remaining bill each month so long as Webs or someone could manage the server admins/donators and server settings as my availablity is not so good.

i know its rather late from when this thread was started, bhut i rarely read this section anymore. but i'm more than willing to pay the $0.95 for the kick rights to get on.

what happens though if after say 2 months it is going really well, and there is excess money in the account? not that it affects me directly as i'd only be paying a small amount, but mainly for those like sloi who said they'll pay 20% of the monthly cost.
how would you level it out so that people werent paying more than they needed to?

If it were up to me, I (me) would pay the entire bill, and give kick to join priviledges at $0.95/month/slot UNTIL the monthly cost of the server were met. If and after there are enough people to cover the cost, the price for kick to join privilages would be split evenly between everyone.

So, for example, lets say there's only 5 people paying a 64 slot server. That's $4.75 in payments and then I'd cover the remaining $56.05

However, say you have 100 people paying a 64 slot server. Everyone pays $0.61 and there's no slack to pick up.

Just an idea, but it can work.

I'd be in favor of the idea. The last donation hasn't cleared, so we can't really go forth until at least March 6 (or whenever that last 6 dollar donation clears). If everyone thinks this would be a good idea, I'll be happy to take care of the logistics of the matter.
