Coming from the world of COD4 and TF2, I've decided to give CS:S a purchase.

Before I begin, is there anything I should know about? Or is it as easy as point gun at head? :p

It is. Bascally Point the head before someone else points at your head :]

Ive had to learn this the HARRDD way :]

Its is a hell of a lot harder than COD4 thats for sure, there are some guns that you can spray quite easily with a bit of training and others that require some mastering but overall just watch where/how you move around (walking etc gamesense) and get accurate,

and use the ak47

the UMP is a fail gun, nothing more satisfying than raging the enemy team with a p90 rush though

Nah, actually the UMP fails compared to just about everything else. I could do better with a glock.

the glock ****ing owns if you are on a nice server, jump and burst fire someone in the head

there just isnt anything else in the game that comes close to being that satisfying

Type into console: cl_crosshairscale 12000

This will make your cross hair very very very small.

Get a piece of blu tack and stick a tiny bit of it on top of the cross hair on your screen. Super accurate at long distances, and helps with no scope AWPing

I use a 518.

Color change is nice, but black sometimes is not visible in certain maps, so I've created a bind which allows me to switch between green and black. :)

Exactly what I did,. :nod:

Type into console: cl_crosshairscale 12000

This will make your cross hair very very very small.

Conversely, this awp skin features a laser for you to use, so as not to mark up your screen. Yes, the dot could be a lil smaller, but the awp's super inaccurate out of scope anyway.

So wait, I shrunk my crosshair for no real reason execpt for blutack, which I didn't add yet? :p

Gonna inspect that skin, since I don't have one yet for the AWP.

I find the laser is of no use, as noscoping is in no way more accurate than scoping in the first place.

Now how do those people quick swap after shooting so quickly? xD
