BF2 Don't want to run

Delete the Battlefield 2 folder in My documents, that will put the game back to default settings.
Also check your version of Windows is up to date, eg: SP2, .Net Framework, etc

I already deleted Battlefield 2 folder in My Documents, my windows is up to date, I got both 1.1 and 2.0 .NET Framework. Definitely it's that EA is a pain in the *** sometimes :cry:.

I found what the problem was. I have edited maplist.con in C:/Documents and Settings/User name/My Documents/Battlefield2/Profiles/0001 When i unticked the option read only the problem mysteriously disapperead can it be your problem? I advise you to try playing online too see if the problem persists.

You're having a bit of bad luck there mate, as i said before the game is worth playing. Are you able to test another graphics card in your puter ?
