Single Player better than the MP

The MP simply sucks @$$!
Honestly, the sad part about this is, the single player is more epic, and enjoyable than the MP.
Enviroments are waaaay to small. You have the use of UAV, artillery, and attack chopter, WHY?
Spawn killing/raping are second nature in the MP of this game. I would have to say that 90% of the people that play this are ranked up to the top now.
What else is there to do, besides perks, which is about retarded within itself.

Also the ping on most servers are a joke, almost every server I have got on has atleast one or more players pinging over 300. LMAO thats just SAD!

I am very glad this game was given to me for free, otherwise it would already be destroyed by a .50 BMG round of mine. A glorified version of CSS if you ask me.

I have been playing FPS's online since the very first version of TFC, and this MP version of COD4 simply has to be one of the worst EVER.

Iam sure there will be alot of posts in reply to this but, I really dont care, the MP version of this game purely SUCKS!

Even though BF2 is dying game, it is still alot more fun, than COD4 MP anyday.

Well that's just your opinion. That doesn't cassify it as the lam3st game ever.


I for one think the MP is lots of fun. But of course if you're a total idiot and play on those DM 50+ shipment servers you're bound to hate the game. :cussing:

Well since this is opinions only, I'd like you to hear mine.

I like the SP, there aren't many SP missions, and all the guys (Exept Soap) dying at the end was kind of sad. But it's got the best graphics I've EVER seen. And the story line, although not my favorite ( I love ArmA and OFP stories ) was still very well thought of and well done.

In MP, I can see how once you reach level 55 it can be annoying, but there's a whole bunch of challenges to complete, and how about getting your K/D up a little? What about always being no1 on servers? The game is an FPS, you kill people, and I say IW sure gave us a handful of awesome weapons and custimization to do it with. :salute: :yay:

USMC one was a borefest and should have been left out all together and replaced with same ammount of SAS missions or a new campaign all together, like in CoD1 and 2.

Agreed. It completely lacks the immersion and the atmosphere of HL or STALKER and the firefights were like a chore. The mission-critical parts of the firefights (like using the C4 detonators in the defense) were zipped through without any emotion. Quite different from Rainnow Six Vegas, where you kill 600 people, and every one of them is one damn cool.

No flare. Just shooting the **** out until a trigger is activated. Even StarCraft SP was better executed, despite its extremely simplistic trigger/doodad method.

I played SP a bit. I think the story is detailed and deep, but the gameplay was boring and I stopped playing (I think) half way through. The MP is a lot different, though, and I find it very fun. It's a lot different from BF2, but that's not good or bad. I find BF2 and Cod4 makes a good couple. Going from bf2 to cod4 is a nice break, and going back to bf2 is just as good

I don't buy games for singleplayer, I buy them for multiplayer so I don't really care about cod4's singleplayer

nope...no sarcasm... the multiplayer on CoD4 is very dissapointing compared to the single player.. if only they sat down and thought about it a little longer they could have made an epic game through and through.. but instead we got a perfect single player with an almost novelty multiplayer..

To each his own. Your opinion is undoubtedly in the minority. IMO, this is one of the best shooters I've ever played.

I agree i love single player and i love mltiplayer its 10x better then bf2142 and bf2, though we all have different opinions.

I'll have to admit, I absolutely hated the MP for this game when I first started since it was so drastically different from BF2 MP. However, I've learned the ebb and flow of the maps, and I'm doing a heck of a lot better than I used to, which for me has made the game infinitely more enjoyable. Are there features of MP which should've been improved upon? Sure. However, none of them are so horrible as to make the game unplayable and unenjoyable for me.

Also, for anyone who complains of grenade spamming... compare it to IO karkand or jalabad servers in BF2. Grenade spamming is just as bad in those instances as in CoD4, if not worse. In addition, airstrikes may be powerful and overused, but act like you would in BF2 to avoid artillery strikes - stay inside buildings and don't bunch up with lots of other players. Finally, helicopters CAN be shot down! You can complain of a lack of teamwork, but if you aren't helping to take down a helicopter that's raping your team, you aren't being a team player and IMO, have no grounds to complain about a lack of teamwork. If you're afraid of running out of ammo, there are usually enough corpses lying around that you can take their guns. Afterall, they won't be needing them anymore...
