A perk, LMAO. I am sure most people sitting posting or reading are pro-COD4 MP's, but the fact is the MP part sucks. More spwn killing, and raping than any other game I have played. Teamwork, and tactics are a joke in this game. Maps are way to small for what the gameplay is designed for.
Like I said before, UAV's, arty, and heli attacks are a damn joke.
And once you become a 5 Star you should be ready to enjoy the game to its fullest. LMAAAO. If you say so my friend.

I will warn you that there are people with the Totalgaming community that are sending out, links for cheats, hacks, and exploits for this game.
On a server last night, someone was stating if you want quality hacks for COD4, or any other game that Total supports, PM them on Total's site.

The next time I see this I will take some SS's of it. This is not the first time either. Yes, yes I know all games have hacks or exploits. But the gameplay within the MP already sucks with the spwn killing, FAKE arty, and heli attacks. Someone adding hacks to their inventory will make it even WORSE.
Oh and BTW, MSX site is advertising that they have atleast 10 different hacks or bots that will not be detected by PB. @SSholes have nothing better to do than to ruin games, and gameplay for people.
Never used one, never needed one, gaming by skill only.

But when the MP platform sucks as well, you tend to make it fun, one way or the OTHER.

BTW, is there anyone or anything set in place to report hacks or exploiters much like BFRoE at one time, for COD4?

...this MP version of COD4 simply has to be one of the worst EVER.

COD4 has been the 3rd most popular FPS game online, in terms of numbers of players, for 3-4 months now. Only Counter-Strike, and CS:S have more people online at any one time. COD4 consistently has 2x as many players online as BF2, and 3-4x as many as TF2.

Your stat-padding comment is irrelevant, as stats are stored user-side, and there are very few sites online to "show off" your prowess. Level 55 rank can be achieved by an average player with less than 50 hrs gameplay, and tons of players are already at this rank.

Everyone has their opinion, but as another poster said, you're in the minority.

What exactly is your reasoning for saying this? At 5 star you have all the weapons and perks, so how can that not be as full an experience as the game offers?

Your comments have the pang of inexperience, for example: how can one get spawn-camped in a game where spawns change when they are attacked by the enemy?

At the moment I am thinking what I always think when one of these threads pops up: you just got rolled and have come here to tell us all that it's not you, but the game that sucks.

I'm thinking that AutoFodder just hit the nail on the head.

Why do I think that? Because I felt the same the OP-er did the first few times I played the game on a full server.

However, when I learned how to play the game and not get repeatedly owned, things changed. I don't get pwned by Air Strikes, Helos or other players very often anymore.

I find the MP to be very enjoyable and I still play those other games in my sig. So, I'd recommend that you either play the game enough to learn it so you can do better, or put it away and do something else.

What purpose is served by coming here and talking a lot of nonsense is beyond me. Other than the fact that you've gotten a whole lot of undeserved attention.

Rank in CoD4 is the equivalent of 'training wheels'. By the time you get to 5-star, you should be ready to play the game to it's fullest extent.

Who cares about silly fictional titles? Besides, most all of us will be playing on unranked, custom maps servers within a few months. The only time we'll play ranked games is when nostalgia kicks in.

Could not have said it any better as the the stat padding and hackers etc, etc, etc and the know-everything teenies push me towards CoD4 which I have been playing since Xmas. Have been playing FPS for a long time and have logged over 2000 hours playing BF2 and BF2142 combined. I like both games and return frequently to play them but there is something that is very relaxing about playing CoD4. Anyway that is way I see it.......have a big time day on the BF.

Just my .02$ but I also really didn't like the MP portion of this game. I love big maps and vehicles. That happens to not be a strength of this game, so I don't play it. Doesn't mean the game sucks, I just don't like it.

I understand =sds=god's point of view and I feel the same at some occasions where everybody just camps and the whole game turns into a huge nade spamfest.

Although you can't compare CoD4 to BF really, they're very different sorts of games. CoD4 is more of a deathmatch game. I didn't like CoD4 much at first - felt really dumbed down - but it's a nice game :)

My tip would be not to play at servers with more than 20 players. The maps are so small it's not worth it to play with more players.

Ah, the MP is quite amazing. For the kind of person who plays CS, and could care less about ranks... points... whatever, I think it's great.

Spawn camping is almost non-existent... unless you play on a 50 person FFA Shipment server.

Honestly, the sad part about this is, the single player is more epic, and enjoyable than the MP.
Enviroments are waaaay to small. You have the use of UAV, artillery, and attack chopter, WHY?
Spawn killing/raping are second nature in the MP of this game. I would have to say that 90% of the people that play this are ranked up to the top now.
What else is there to do, besides perks, which is about retarded within itself.

Also the ping on most servers are a joke, almost every server I have got on has atleast one or more players pinging over 300. LMAO thats just SAD!

I am very glad this game was given to me for free, otherwise it would already be destroyed by a .50 BMG round of mine. A glorified version of CSS if you ask me.

Even though BF2 is dying game, it is still alot more fun, than COD4 MP anyday.

yeah I kind of feel the same way. I have a little over a day on multiplayer and its getting really old really fast. When I came home the other day i played a round of cod4, then quit and played CSS for about an hour. Idk why, but cod4 doesn't seem that great. I think its average. The first time I played it it even reminded me of bf2:modern combat, not even because of the names. The most atrocious part of this game has GOT to be the gun sounds! I don't want my m249 to sound like a child spitting or like opening a bunch of coke cans really fast or something, its just so annoying.
