I agree it is the best crap game I have ever played.
I hate how EA screws us, I hate the patches, I hate the bugs, I hate the netcode... but I still love to play battlefield 2. I think it is hands down the funnest because of how much it has to offer even though it wasn't released nor will it ever be anything like it's original intentions.

As for BF2. Its definitely one of the best games of all times. BF2.1.0 gameplay was so free, so fluid, so fun. Every new game that has been labelled as BF2 killer, has gone so wrong, as only BF2 truly existed by the rule "less is more".

I dont think I will pack 1500 hours into any game coming out near future. Im at 60 hours for COD4 and Im struggling to play it.

CoD4 does get very boring, the multiplayer lacks a lot as well, hold fire and camp ftl

I don't know how to explain it, but after waiting for BF2 for ages, it seemed to have a certain charm to it that even overrid my anger at no more ride of the Valkyries

From the death messages to the hud, it had (still has to an extent) a brilliance and replayability to it

The game was just so much fun to play and love, but as time has shown some things change...just hope Dice can buck up for BF3, keep all the great things and not take a major nose dive...

You mustn't have played the first CoD, as an original CoD player, I have to say CoD4's infantry combat is ****! very easy and repetitive, the game has been noobified majorly. You can unload an M4 without any recoil and no bursts shots and hit the spot all the time.

And the substance of the multiplayer has to be that exact ability to read the book over and over and uncover new things you missed each time, that's what keeps you coming back. And like you said, you can't do that in cod4.

As for the bugs, it all depends on how familiar you're with the game and the community, you must've missed that huge 15 thread page on IWNation about CoD4's bugs.

Also, new features are requested cause the game is lacking tons of features(filters, no ability to configure the loadout while in-game,... and many other things), BF2 already has A LOT of features, yes, they are buggy, but again depends on individual experience.

For example, in CoD4 when you're running it in window mode and push ALT(configured as lean for me) and then WASD keys it produces this "bing" sound from windows default sounds, that bug is annoying as hell, and they still haven't fixed that.

Oh and another thing that tells me you haven't been in the CoD community much, AV/IW have ****ed their customers no less than DICE/EA have, ....... cod2 anyone? .... just leaving that game out in the air, never fixing the left lean glitch, coming out with 1.3 patch and ruining connection times, most people are still playing 1.0 version. There was a huge strike with admins shutting down and locking their servers for 24H and stuff. I'm as bitter with IW as you're with DICE, **** IW, they've betrayed the PC cod community and sold out to 360.
