...says the guy with the "HEY LOOK AT ALL THE PIXELS I'VE EARNED MY E-PENIS IS HUGE" stats signature. Typical.
Really though, I've said before that no game so far has been able to replace the "Battlefield Experience" for me. Big maps, squads, 64-player action, a wide variety of vehicles, all together in a package that is a blast to play. Yes, it has flaws, but ever since installing it on release day, I've never had the desire to uninstall.Comment

I agree with you completely,
I got into BF2 a bit late, cause the steep learning curve, and convertion from being a cod player kinda turned me off of it, but once I got into BF, I have to agree, it's by far the best MP game to date.
The thing with CoD4 is that it's the same old tired game with a refresh of graphics, all flash but no substance, plus it's so noobyfied now that it's just not fun, I know a lot of people that played it for a week then got bored and switched to something else, I went back to the first cod, which IMHO is still by far the best game in the series.
BF2 has that substance CoD4 lacks, it has that magic.
The game just manages to incorporate every aspect be it jets(J-10 is fairly balanced damn it), helos, cars, weapons, into a beautiful balance of war on beautiful maps and locations.
Everything in BF2 feels right, flying jets, helos, driving tanks, cars, apcs, it's just perfect, the gravity the slugishness it's all there, when you're driving a tank you actually feel like you're driving a heavy machine.
You even got different skins for different maps in BF2, in CoD4 you're paying for new skins, that's it.
Plus that beautiful ranking system, it's clear that it was designed with long period of gameplay in mind, I unlocked all guns in cod4 within a week, cod4's unlock system sucks!
Graphic wise I think the game is holding up fine, I always played on every Low and recently turned up the graphics to high and was personally blown away by how good it looks.
I love the sounds it game, guns, vehicles, jets, helos, tanks everything sounds awesome.
Honestly, I LOL at all those people that ***** and threaten to move to another new "false hope", they were moving to QW:ET, Crysis now FFOW, guess what all those games pale in comparison to BF2 and all those "strikers" are back to this game, I've even stopped looking at other BF like franchises I know they are going to suck, QW for example, a total failure(look at game monitor), the vehicles felt like crap, the whole game was crap.
2142, was a good game, but I feel like DICE got a bit lazy on it, it doesn't come close to BF2 and I don't like the whole futuristic crap, I didn't like how the guns looked.
If DICE don't get lazy with Battlefield 3 and will do it properly, I think it's going to be a winner.
Forgot to add: with CoD4 everything is always the same, you know what to expect every single time you play, maybe someone will surprise you by camping in a corner you didn't expect but that's pretty much it. With BF2 it's always random, you never know what lucky, funny or amazing situation/kill you'll get into, for example, the other day on Kubra my teammate stole my tank, I got into his APC and pushed him off the cliff, it was hilarious, or taking out choppers with a tank, so satisfying. I think that has a lot to do with people coming back to this game.Comment
