No....i dont reeeetard. Those servers i visited i was there for an average of (1) match and maybe collected 100 kills total maybe. My kd actually suffers on knife servers as opposed to destroying fools with ARs.

Im not weaseling anything, i DONT normally play on knife servers i just got this one person on my buddy list that likes to knife so we went on a few servers. Why do i need to defend myself?

I play this game alot and it was just fun to do something different.

I consistently play on regular servers as assault and rack up lots of kills. The fact that i am open minded (unlike you guys apparently) warrants me thinking that knife servers are ok.

I dont hack and have gone on very few knife servers compared to my time in the regular game. You can see it from my stats because knfe kills are only 1/123th of my total kills. I have less than 1000 knife kills.. but then i have about 90,000 kills with assault rifles. DERRR

im sorry i just got kind of annoyed about it because first everyone was all anal about knife servers being "illegal" when i talked about them and then they started assuming that because i support knife servers i am in fact a dirty knifing stat padder and then it would turn into a big witch hunt where they try and find something that isnt even there.

RANKED Knife servers ARE illegal....not "illegal."
EA and DICE won't ever do anything about it. That doesn't make them any less ILLEGAL.
Because you support ILLEGAL knife servers, you are suspect.

Sorry but using K/P servers by itself doesn't mean anything.
I've been using them quite a bit lately. However, I use anything but the K or the P to kill someone.

rdx ramming and knife servers

i'll address both arguments... knife servers and rdx ramming.

first, the knife servers. i think this is pretty straight forward... i'm a knifer and silly me, i climbed the leaderboard to number 20 or so worldwide _legally_ (i've since dropped). i just followed the rules and that's that.

i think knife servers are wrong because 20,000 tags collected with long rounds and nothing but knifing doesn't compare to 20,000 tags collected from people with _guns_. the majority of the knife leaderboard people got there by cheating. if they make knife servers legal i'll stop complaining about them.

i don't "run around shanking unsuspecting people in the back". sure, i'll take an unsuspecting back stab any time it's presented to me, but just as many times i'm dipping and dodging someone blasting their whole voss magazine at me. then i collect their tags and move on !

now to the walker issue... i'll give a little different perspective on this. i'm not really a walker whore... but some how i've managed to stay between 100 and 200 overall walker pilots for quite a while. i do my walkering on what i consider "country" maps like suez, verdun and minsk conquest because i like killing tanks/walkers/other armor and not infantry.

so, i didn't get that walker rank whoring on gibraltar. we won't get into arguing if it's a legitimate tactic... of course it works. people keep talking about the "waste of a team asset". that's not valid, as the value of the walker on a map like gib far outweighs the value of the FAV.

therein lies the problem... the enjoyment of this game to me is about balance. every attack should have a reasonable counter... every defense should have a weak spot. it's the value of the walker that is the problem, not the value of the FAV.

there simply isn't a valid method to defend against the tactic, with tight maps like gibraltar being the best example of this. it's hard to stop even in wide open maps like suez. you basically have to get lucky with a missile or hit the driver... that or manage to dodge them because they can't drive.

even a gunship and really good gunner you can handle with quick position switching or a good gunner of your own. you would think if it were just a matter of "walker whoring" that tv missiles would be complained about the most.

the walker is of huge tactical importance to both sides on gib, and the respawn time is extremely slow. we won't argue who is "right" about rdx ramming... the servers that allow it or servers like ours that don't.

if it's not allowed and you use it as a quick and easy method to eliminate the walker (which can dramatically change the outcome of a battle)... it's basically cheating. you've given your team a huge tactical advantage at very little cost and the other team technically can't even do it back to you.

that is cheap no matter how you cut it... especially when removing a walker can have such a negative/positive impact depending on which team you're on. now, anyone who plays with me knows i hardly ever get in a walker on gibraltar.

generally, i only get in a walker if our team is losing and i think i can turn the tide, or if no one is using it and it's just sitting there. so, i'm not against rdx ramming because it cuts my "whoring session short".

i just think it has a huge impact on the tactical advantage each side has, especially when it might be 1 good walker pilot keeping a team from losing completely. if the other team is coordinated at all, eliminating the only reason they are losing shouldn't be too hard with all the methods available.

it's the lack of a viable defense to ramming that is annoying, that and it takes zero skill to accomplish. when i go walkering in a country map i don't fear the rammers... they just annoy me and i tend to play on country servers that don't allow it.

i worry far more about the nest of infantry at dry lake on suez than the lone rammer cruising the map looking for a kill, and a good tank pilot causes me far more problems. a good tank pilot is a true pain in the rear... all it takes is realizing the true strength of the tank: speed and long range accuracy.

it basically comes down to how you want to play, then it's a matter of fairness. once a server has ramming banned in the rules, using it is really cheating.

There's an issue, though, with those statements.
RDX ramming, along with uncap attacking, are optional type of rules.
A knife server, if it's ranked, is not an option.

a k/p server is illegal full stop... you can be in one doing whatever you like..... your still using thier servers for your own demise.
