Aerialz, the fact that this is not a sim has absolutely no meaning. The jets fly like jets in sims fly, meaning- you need the same type of control. And joystick control is not a requirement for MSFS, you can very well fly those planes with a keyboard only, which I have.
As for why JS is better than a mouse/KB
1) It has more accessible keys, which allow for much faster and wider key pressing combinations and general use
2) Its more natural to an untrained hand to become adjusted to
3) Continuous and unrestricted motion
4) Switching between unrestricted and continuous motion is far better
5) Very high customization through various software
6) Precision rudder control for most sticks
7) Precision throttle control for pilots who fly on certain throttle level
These are just off the top of my head.
