Oh **** no. I'll murder a ***** for that ****. I mean seriously. Just because we are Scottish doesn't mean we have to be made fun of. I mean that's like saying OH YOU'RE FROM WISCONSIN YOU MUST EAT CORN. Kind of thing.

I was on a server the other day, and this dude was talking a bunch of crap, and one dude with the name of like jose (being Latino) was like "What are you talking about" and the guy responded with a "If you're Hispanic don't worry about it." And I was like Wow what the ****? Racist much? And everyone started to get bitchy at me.

I never see racism really bad nor do I really care about it either. And I personally don't see a problem in saying the "n word" depending on the way it is used just like the f word and shlt and what not.

Some people grow up being exposed to more profanity and racism than others, I myself grew up with two alcoholics parents who found the need to cuss one another out every night for as long as I can remember. Now thats my own personal business but that may shed the light on why some people are such tards online and no its not an excuse for their behavior.

I'd also like to share that I like to swear sometimes but not in rage, but soley just communicating with others. Some people can handle it, others cant and I respect that too.

bytheway, the n word is noob right? Or some sort of abreviation of it? lol

                That's the general idea.

I really do hate it though when people come in and use bad English. Here's an example and it's kinda funny.

This guy came into a server one time, "eyo, is cussin allowed up in dis bich?" (seriously that's how it was spelled out) and me, (ya this was a little on the racist side) I asked "Can you speak English and not Ebonics?" and he got REALLY pissed. Then he started swearing at me and whatnot over text and VoIP. Funny part, he got banned by an admin, and then the admin came on all chat and said, "Man what a loon, I grew up in Compton and I don't speak like that"

Racism happens every day, from what it looks like it will never be ceased. Best thing to do is ignore it. As stated before its just words, take it as nothing, at least thats my attitude. In video games it is even more in the air, the attitude they have is simply "I'm on the internet what are they going to do about it." Yes most of these racist are usually 11-16ish. They will wise up when they get there *** beat for calling someone it to their face.

Imagine me playing and all of a sudden seeing all these racial slurs appearing before me. Now, since this was a good server, I stayed and tried to ignore it, but after 5 minutes, it just got crazy and I left.

Thought that was the end of that, but when I went to another server (pub) 3 days later, I see the message, "Is anyone here black?" Now, I thought that he himself was black and wanted to add another black buddy, but no. He proceeded to use the racial slur against blacks numerous times bashing them. He then changed his username into another persons and then repeated so to look like that that person said it. He then changed his name into MINE to make it look like I was the racist. (Note that he was stupid and forgot to capitalize the b in Blade so everyone knew he was doing it.) He was soon votekicked and I just sat there thinking,

This is just getting out of hand. I've encountered hacking, swearing, and glitching but never encountered racism in any game before this. Discuss.
                        All in good fun.
What would gaming be without racism, smacktalking and asshatery?
But really, you never encountered racism before? what games have you been playing?

I've never met any racism on either BF2142, TF2 or CoD4, but I do know the Intarnet brings up the best and the worst in many people. Too many keyboard warriors around who would never dare to repeat in real life what they type.

I use Morkeye on the server and many words are instant kick, they are surprised to say the least, but I was having some issues with racism so it's the measure I took so that I can play and not have to worry about who is being an idiot, they soon get kicked off :)
