I've seen a lot of this in different games. Unfortunately, there are a lot of internet toughguy douchebags who just want to antagonize people. So we see all sorts of slurs being thrown around, racial and otherwise (gay bashing seems ubiquitous). Whatever....as I said above: douchebags.

I've been playing MP games online for many many years and I have to say that at the beginning it was nowhere near as bad as it is now. I don't know if because the internet was was not so ubiquitous and the people that had it in their homes first were not ignorant fools.

Well admin'd servers should kick/ban without warning. There's no need for a warning. If you can't restrain yourself from blurting out racist remarks just because you got owned, then you don't deserve to stick around, period. Just one less ******* to worry about.

heh im WAY over racism...yeah its imature and it sucks but it will always be around nothing u can do to stop it... just ignore it i guess... im soo sick of people complaining about racism as if its some new thing to the world and nobody knows about it...i wish it would just become one of those things that people see and forget almost imediately..

I usually just ignore them, they feed off other people and interaction. It's doubtful they will stay more than a round if no one even acknowledges them.

It's a discussion board. People share ideas and ask questions. It's perfectly valid to have a thread about it.

People can initiate kick votes and/or chose to play on servers where it's not tolerated (ie. servers that regularly have admins). Failing that, ignoring them is the best bet.

It would have been nice if a bad word filter would have been implemented in the game but the ModernRcon author is going to work it into a later release.
