The First Ever Version Of BF2 is seriously noobish. Ive just got a new graphics card and have had to re-install windows, and the thing still wont work

back to the point, i re-installed BF2 no patches, and i went to the servers list and there are still ranked servers playing the first version of BF2 before all the patches. So i go on karkand, the gameplay feels so weak its scary, then u shoot someone, doesn't even come close to hitting them even though they're right infront of you. This is whilst the guy is jumping around like a hyper rabbit, thats how noobish the previous game was, it was so glitchy and was a noobs heaven.

So looking back, EA/DICE haven't at all done that bad of job with patching, and theres still people complaining. Go back to the factory settings then to the latest patch and realise the huge improovement and you'll soon change your minds.

Anyway, thought i'd share that with everyone.

I liked the old version better. That one was arcade as fcuk.
Now it`s just a weird mix of arcade, a very weird mix.

I feel that 2142 is more balanced than bf2 with combat, just seems more fun too.

Fair do's the bunny hopping was a bit intense in the old patches but still...at least you could shoot cars with c4 well.

When I shoot someone in BF2142, I feel like I'm shooting paintballs.

Those paintballs hurt a lot more than the pellets in BF2.
