What maps from other games would you like to see remade?

I would like to see Dust2, Cbble, (for all you old school CS'ers) Siege (with a bomb layout maybe?), and rotterdam (man I LOVED that map.)

i would love to see a remake of the simple yet amazing 2fort map :) 2 equal forts with a nice design to keep the bad guys from getting the flag in the basement, a sniping lookout, and a bridge in between... i loved 2fort ever since the first quake mod and i like the one in tf2, just simple hold your fortress or attack gameplay

I suppose CS maps should do well too, though I've never played them.

A remake of the Rainbow Six airport map would be nice.

Other maps I'd like:

- a jungle map
- a modern city map
- a snow map

Maybe city and snow combined. But first and most of all we need mapping tools :p

I'd love to see the old MOHAA/MOHSH maps converted to COD4. A lot of people know them very well, and because of the way the buildings are designed, they would cut down on the number of angles you could be killed from (this is both a blessing and a curse in COD4, IMO).

The point of the thread is to say what maps from OTHER games would one like to see remade for CoD4, since CS is another game just like BF2 I don't see why you are getting so worked up about it. What's even funnier is that CoD4 is a lot more like CS then BF.

Me, I'd like to see the JRTC Farm Raid from Americas Army (night mission with a farm complex, crop fields and forest).

A load of people already jumped on you about it, but I'll chime in too.

Hey. Douche bag. I never stated anywhere in that post that CS > CoD4 and didn't complain about the maps or gameplay of CoD4. Go change your tampon. You're getting a bit emotional. My whole point is taking the maps people like from other games and putting them in CoD4. If anything that states Cod4 > other games. Hopefully this will turn into a full blown e-lynching. Those are fun.

But, back on topic...

I loved BF2142 (because I rarely got any bugs ), but I have to say, I'd absolutely love a remake of Gibraltar. The only thing is, it's still way too big... would CoD 4 be able to handle a map of that size and still keep its current detail? Maybe it could be a remake of Harbor and Toll Station, because fights between and at those two flags were the most fun anyway, IMO.

Does anyone remember Airstrip from Farcry? I think that would be cool too.
