WTF Stats?

I finish playing a few rounds of conquest, get a few gold stars, combat pins, et. al.

Then I leave the game at the end of the round, and the awards do not show up on the main screen. So I check the BFHQ. They're not showing there either.

So I then quit the game, and then restart it, thinking that it is only a problem with caches and whatnot, which logging out solves.

Wrong. None of today's awards are shown, and no stats are updated.

I then decide to check 2142-stats.com. Go to control panel, click fast update, and 2 hours later, I'm still stuck 51st in line, and the size of the line has increased. No progress here too.

This has NEVER happened to me before. What is going on?

And yes, I am playing on ranked servers.

It can just take time to process, especially if their are a lot of people online.

It can be simple things like 1 of the 2 of EA's master servers down, and thus everyone is being routed through 1, making it slow.

Just hang tight.

The thing is, career points show normally and update. It's just this that hasnt updated since the 3rd January.

I did create a new soldier with the BF2 Veterans program, but this was 3 days ago.

Does it really take 2+ days to update?

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

EA Stat Servers are down, the leaderboards haven't been updated in two days.

Last time this happened they were out for the weekend... When they came back, we all realized that everything we did that weekend was in vain; dogtags didn't count, Stats didn't increase etc.

Sorry to tell ya this, but it is out of our hair.

You sure it's not just a slow stats weekend? I remember several weekends where the stats seemed to be down, but after a couple days, our stats were slowly updated. I really hope it's just a slow stats weekend as opposed to a no stats weekend. =[ I made around 600-700 kills progress towards my Armor Service Medal.

Even on a slow stats weekend, if you click your name on the leaderboard in-game you can get somewhat updated stats. Also, stuff toward your awards will increase... Not so today. I can't be completely sure, but I know for a fact that a No-Stats weekend has happened at least once before in 2142 History.

Definitely not... Seeing as nothing I do right now will update, I just updated my old BF2 (which I had never played online) to the latest patch and played a few rounds. Pretty fun, its actually pretty easy. I came out top 5 and best sniper both rounds I played (which were my first two rounds online :p)

Overpowered Claymores, and is it just me, or does it take alot more bullets to kill someone in the year 2142 :|:

They better remove aircraft altogether from Battlefield 3 IMO.

Just because your rubbish at them doesn't mean they should be removed.

jets in bf2 are way to overpowered. cant do fork all without being bombed every 2 seconds. One reason why i stopped playing and started nicking them off others to encourage more teamplay haha!

Not if you let your good fighter pilots up there instead of whoring the plane and simply crashing it.

i have been having the same problem i killed well over 1k inguys over the last couple of days but my kills have been the same and i also beat my best round score by like ten points and that hasnt updated i am starting to get pissed off ATM
