That is what you are supposed to do if you find something odd. Unfortunately many will say "hacker" without doing any of it.

The problem seems to be that a lot of the people playing are used to the old FPS's. Now with M60/Deep Penetration, I frequently just aim at a wall, in particular if it's where the HQ is (I only play HQ mode) and open up. I get a lot of kills this way.

Most of my guys have kick and temp ban access on my COD 4 servers, but I advise them NEVER to ban someone for hacking unless they spectate them and THEN only if there is 100% unquestionable proof the player is using an aimbot (they're facing one direction and instantly face the other, getting off a head shot). For any other questionable stuff, we have a "Report a cheater" form on our homepage that they can use and we'll check the screenshots for anything.

LOL, me too. I ran into a Mombot user while playing on one of my frequent servers this morning. His teammates started teamkilling him, when the other team got him, we teabagged him. After all that humiliation, instant ban.

Any respectable server will be streaming to PBBans, which has the mombot cvars as part of it's package. The mombot cheat actually sets cvars, which can be detected by PB and thus kick the player if they try activating it. :)
