id like to see a game mode like in FH2 where you have to cap flags in a particular order, it encourages massive fire fights!!!!!
What can we expect in BF3?

You know those rounds of Karkand where the USMC commander is yelling at his team to stop zerging the hotel and getting slaughtered? Now imagine if that was the USMC's only option. Yeah, that's what it'd be like. Plus there wouldn't be a reason for anyone to guard a back base, so every MEC would spawn at the Hotel, instead of just 3/4 of them. Oh yeah, and I hope you like Claymores, because you'll have to get through a whole ****load of 'em before you'd even be able to sniff the flag.
So, yeah, unless they completely redesign the way explosives and spamming work (from BF2), that mode would be atrocious.

well don't you think that would be an obvious consideration when they're making the maps?

Vehicles actually physically take damage on the body, instead of just a meter. (IE, you hit a pole, the front end gets smashed up.) Less damage if the the bullets hit the body of the vehicle as opposed to the effect of hitting the vehicles engine area.Comment

Given that this same development team thought that the way to fix claymores was to simply make them not blow up on teammates, you'll understand that I have my doubts. And while we're at it, make them indestructible. Yes, Warlord never looked better.

It works well in PR because of the spawn times are higher and the spamming is less. Like the above, a push mode would be horrible on Karkand unless spawn times are much higher so that when the USMC is capturing the hotel, they don't have to worry about 10 people respawning at once at the hotel.Comment

Well that is karkand isn“t it. Probably the worst map I have ever played as far as gamplay is concerned. Even increasing by a huge amount the view distance would sort it out probably. But yes, in my opinion flags capped in reasonable orders is alot better. And I fully agree with the spamming/explosives comment. They need adjusting big time. You know those rounds of Karkand where the USMC commander is yelling at his team to stop zerging the hotel and getting slaughtered?
