ok alright. its an 8800gt, its pretty much the next generation. its amazing for the money, cooling could be better. i do get those fps', but i don't play on huge servers. thats why....
to unlock fps first you have to display fps. while playing type in ~ to bring up the console, then type "renderer.drawfps 1" without the quotes. to unlock it, bring up the console again, and type "game.lockfps 0" without the quotes.

What... 250fps with an 8800gt or gts on absolute max graphics is simple. BF2 is almost 3 years old, and an 8800gt is less than a month. Get your facts straight.

I play max graphics, and even force 16x AA through Nvidia CP and get 200fps+

Does NOT matter about your CPU!! BF2 was not optimized for mroe than one core, a P4 3.4 ghz, is just as good as an E6600 in BF2.

Yes, it's not multicore optimized but you will get way higher FPS with 6600. Have you ever run 3dmark? You need your system balanced. P4 3.4Ghz + 8800gtx is just as stupid as E6850 + ati X600
