Here are my final stats from the past week:

      Time: 31:17 Hours
      Rounds: 109
      Career Score: 11725
      Global Score: 4726
      Score Per Round: 43.358
      Wins: 66 | Losses: 43 | W/L Ratio: 1.535
      Kills: 2689 | Deaths: 804 | K/D Ratio: 3.345

Not to bad seen as though 14hrs of it was me playing Northern Strike to get all my NS awards, if it was all just vanilla stats would of been better

This was my new account, hence the NS playing lol.

Actually, this time I think you don't get it.

Reason why? Well here's the deal. To get supreme commander by that logic, you'd need to achieve 5000 career points in a round. Correct?

Fine fine fine, it's doable - but explain how some people (US New Mexico for example) have attained supreme commander more than once? Because surely they'd have to attain 5000 career points in a round on more than one occasion. It's doable with the recruit glitch, but to be honest, I think you'd see a lot more DIFFERENT supreme commanders out there who aren't knife server whores if that was the case because I'm pretty sure he's not the only person who's any good at exploiting that glitch. Besides, as I said I've had several rounds before where I've had that glitch and got 5000+ career points in a round, and I've never had a higher rank.

It simply CAN'T be that, unless 76 people also managed to get more career points in a round than me in that particular week. I'm pretty sure it refers to your in a round score total in a week - it would offer the higher ranks to the players who play the most and achieve the most points across the week, taking into account the recruit glitch - it makes sense! EA's wording doesn't help though, comes across as a little ambiguous.

Tell you what though, next time I get the glitch, I'll go all out on it and try and get some ludicrous scores. And then I'll plug on with the week as much as possible and try and nail a high rank. If I don't get it, I'll compare my weekly stats with someone who did, but if that's EA's system then I think they need a review.

Ever heard of the private glitch? Only 50% of the time the points actually count toward your rank, the other 50% it just looks pretty. It makes sense if you think about it.

Neither of you get it lol.

It means 5000 In Round Score that week.

In Round Score meaning, points earned whilst playing, so getting kills/assists/captures/defends/heals/revives/resupplies etc. Just not including any pins/badges/ribbons etc.

So you have to of earned 5000 Score that week before adding on any awards.

These points i will highlight below

I've earned over 5000 score this week, and have earned well over 2000 in most weeks for the last few months. I was going to use your stats as an example but you say it's a new character? so that wouldn't work. So I'll use my stats

              Time : 31.55
              Rounds : 133
              Cscore : 11192
              Gscore : 5884
              Spr : 44.241
              Wins : 121 | Losses : 12 | WLR : 10.083
              Kills : 3104 | Deaths : 575 | K/D : 5.398

As you can see, over 5000 in a round score. Another thing, my weekly global score hasn't been less than 2000 for a few months. So that doesn't make sense either, although obviously other people could've got higher weekly scores - as you can see from this weeks example, if that theory held water, I would've got it as I attained more than fingulfin.

Also fingulfin - your theory cannot be correct by your own reasoning. Remember that example Forces(uk) - number 2 commander? well, he commands most of the time too, and has attained 3 star general for a number of consecutive weeks. As you said yourself, how is a commander easily able to exploit the recruit glitch (with regards to your reply concerning KAIN) - and if forces(uk) can do it, then surely someone who plays as much as KAIN could do it too? That much doesn't add up.

So basically, none of this adds up at all. I'm now embarking on a mission to find the fabled hat EA use to choose higher ranks with, I may not be back for some time, wish me luck!

Congrats, EA totally screwed the how to on that, and as glitchy as 2142 is, they even play a role in the special ranks. Lolyn I wouldnt worry about it, if you are in the top hundred, that is what shows you kick *** and are a great player. The decay ranks just show you are good and had time to kill that week (not saying special rankers suck) So yea, my goals on 2142 are to get all awards and make it to top thousand.

Yep... But when you get it I recommend you exploit it to the fullest :p

As for my theory not working... Does Forces actually command, unlike KAIN's AFK command? If Forces does, then he can easily get 10 Kills for the Legion of Merit+Good Conduct Ribbon, add the badge for whatever kit he is using simply by dropping Orbital Strikes. The more you play, the more Private Glitches you get...

If you wanna see how much of your life you have actually lost, go see your deaths and multiply them by 15. Thats how many seconds you've wasted looking at the spawn screen. Now think there may of been a lot of times you were rez'd with just 1 second to go as well.

34000 deaths.... so that's at least 6 days well spent looking at a ticker counting down - and my K/D is alright so it could've been a whole lot worse. That's really depressing man, cheers :P I reckon I probably spent a good 3 of those days early on though, as in, first 2 or 3 months.

Still, can get away with it - uni students have sod all better to do than stare at spawn screens like

The rank is a mystery, i think if you get it you'll get it by accident, trying to get it gets you no where it seems. i tried for a few weeks a while back.. heres what i got.. i knew 3 LG's back then.. they all said i'll get it with the points i scored, but no it never happened. :)
