The rank is a mystery, i think if you get it you'll get it by accident, trying to get it gets you no where it seems. i tried for a few weeks a while back.. heres what i got.. i knew 3 LG's back then.. they all said i'll get it with the points i scored, but no it never happened. :)

That's the bizarre thing though - some people must have multiple consecutive accidents. Yummeh went for ages being LG, although now I think he genuinely does play less, he dropped to MG and now hasn't been a higher rank for quite some time.

When I went for the rank, I went for it on purpose I knew the requirements, although alot of people disagree with my view on them. (remember its me with the rank, and not them :p)

PS: I am hoping to keep it next week as well!
