Which time-line for BF3

If BF3 is to come out soon, what would you rather have it under the time-line of and why?

Modern combat. I just find it more realistic rather then having it in the past with old fashion weapons, and rather then in the future with flying hippo like things. Modern is more realistic and more fun, in my opinion.

yeah i think BF3 is going to be modern times.

Civil war = muskets and maybe bolt action rifles....have fun with that. plus alot of battles were fought in lines and in BF2..we've seen that ppl dont really fight together.

world war 2 is overdone. Call of Duty figured that out

aliens vs marines (like starcraft fps) would be cool IMO

Yeah but those catagories still fall under modern day warefare because they were still using AK's and M4's then. I mean more of a time-line gap jump warfare.

like having to reload, but it takes forever... and you won't get any complainers, the crappy hit boxes make it more realistic... haha
