No. I am tired of sand and brown buildings.

I have no beef with sand or brown buildings. Think of it as a beach resort, but with fewer chicks and everyone's mixed drinks have been replaced with fully automatic weapons. Spring Break forever!

A shooter done in a 2142-ish setting would be nice. I'd like to see a competent dev team give it a try, without EA cracking the whip on them all the way through the process.

They might do a better job.

I wouldn't worry too much yet. They only released this news to help pump-up the buzz about the Vivendi-Activision merger, and to capitalize on the current buzz of COD4.

EA's gonna be in trouble as far as the "#1 Publisher" title goes. It's about time they had some powerhouse competition to force them to improve.

COD 5: Land of the Morning Calm

Korean War! Hasn't been done by any major game manufacturer yet. Battle Chinese troops in Seoul! Play a Brittish soldier fighting off the Chinese in the Spring Offensive on the Imjin! Be an American attacking the port of Inchon or defending Pusan!

                              /win!

There's a huge continent with many wars that has gone completely ignored. Sierra Leone civil war, anyone?
