Anyone else agree P90 is the noob gun

I think its a strong weapon, no doubt about it.

However I also know some competitive ladders e.g. clanbase in europe have disabled the P90 along with the noob tube from ladders, but I'm not sure what its like in american ladders.

Pound for pound, the p90 is the easiest gun to rack kills with on almost any map currently in the game. People call it noob because its clip size and ROF make aiming practically inconsequential when using steady aim. It could use some bullet deviation tbh. I expect it will get some small tweaks in one of the bigger mods...

I don't think so.. It has no long range.. I can rack up more kill's with the M4, G36C and RPD and just as much kill's with the MP5.. All the SMG's should be better with close range fire fight's anyway, it is how it should be.. so it is not a noob gun at all, I don't really use the P90 much I moslty use the RPD but when I did use it I did not think it was a noob gun, the thing people freak out about is that it's easy to get close range kill's without using the site's on it.. it's not that the P90 is powerful it's that the other gun's are underpowered at close range and that is the truth, when using any gun at close range you should not have to use the site's but I guess it is like that for balence..

Exactly, its what people dont realize, SMG's are meant for close quarter combat fights and because these maps are so small most of the kills are from CQC making most SMG's such as the P90, MP5, Uzi be more successful than the Assault rifles.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Every FPS has "noob" weapon, ever FPS has people that ***** and whine about the "noob" weapons, and every FPS has counters to those "noob" weapons. It's called skill.

To clarify, I do not use the P90 anymore it lacks the range and power I prefer. The AK and M4 is where it is at.

Well I was a MP5 man until I got the P90. Thats how I ranked from rank 49-55 in less than an hour.
