P90's good, no doubt, but it's hardly out of control. With the right perks/attachments, a number of guns are close in effectiveness. (Imho, at least)

No, its not.

People work and get good with a weapon. I picked up the P90 off a body and fell in love with it. I learned to use it well with burst firing and silenced. CQC is great with it. When I need something more, I get out my G36C. If im out of amo or turned a corner and the enemy is in my face, they get a chest full of knife.

Theyre weapons. Do I like getting killed by the nade launcher? No. Do I like getting killed by anything? No. So I figure out what can counter it and beat the crap out of the person doing it, or try to.

Are there noobs out there? Yea. Thats how it goes.

Just got it today, and with DoubleTap/Bandolier its quite a weapon!
But its not what I like best. I usually have either an M4/GL or the AK47/GL. And yes I use the GL for long range shots.

I dont think its a noobish weapon. Its a little too accurate over distance (providing you use short controlled bursts ) and the rate of fire is a little over the top but it isnt a noob weapon.

The 203 grenade launchers and martyrdom on the other hand is something completely different, the clever server admins out there should disable the 203s, same with martyrdom . I personally think that tougher punishment should be introduced to people that TK with martyrdom, they would think twice then about joining a team based server with that crap enabled.

p90 isnt that great.. i found the mp5 far superior.. got range, good damage , small clip .. but thats only a prob if you waste an entire round on a target

MP5 Is better... however, the G36C is a combination... gives you range plus a great rate of fire like the MP5. I use it for maps like Bloc so I can engage CQC like an MP5 and long range like an M4.

MP5 wins on smaller maps. But M40 and Dragunov own all still.

Off topic? the thread topic is "P90 is a noob gun?". A noob gun means its easy to use, I agree, it is easy to use due to the large clip and fast ROF. Good spray gun for noobs to use and get kills with it. But in order to get the gun you must be pretty high level, and high lv usually not = noob. But w/e...

I can understand why some ladders/leagues want to prohibit the use of the P90 and 203s in matches and I totally agree with this ruling, however in a public server where its each to their own the P90 is still a favourite of mine :-D.

Its the same thing on every game, someone gets good with a weapon and suddenly its "noob".

Pretty soon it'll be any gun is "noob"... Its quite funny.

Cripes MP5(silenced) with bullet pene' and stopping power and Dead Silence is crazy. But I have been called "noob" for using it... Same thing with M60 with grip, pene' and juggernaut, "noob".
Same thing with just about anyof them i've used...

OK, in Hardcore, ANYTHING is a "n00b-ie". You can kill a man with a single M9 shot. So your statement is pretty much useless. If you want to talk about noobs in Hardcore then talk about the guys with the M203's and the ones with the RPD.
