I'm terrible with the AK; I'll try the RPD with the Grip/Stopping Power/Steady Aim. I'm using the M60E4 with that setup and I love it.

nice we need more LMG out there putting down cover fire. but yeah the M60E4 has to much recoil for my taste and I can't handle the site on it.. the RPD has a very good site and not much recoil so you can fire alot longer burst's and if you hit them in the chest it take's abotu just as much shots to kill someone..

Gotta admit my most used weapon is the M249 + grip, i just get on really well with it, good mix of power, rate of fire and accuracy esp with the grip.

Agreed on the M60, i wanna love that gun but i just cant get to grips with it.

I love it, with the exception of me being toast if I run into a guy with a little gun like Skorpion/uzi. Those guns can get a shot off WAY faster than the LMG.

In terms of technical precision, the AK looses. The M16 or M4 are better IMO. In terms of what I use. I love the AK, it's just fun to use. With mouse wheel as fire, you can snap off single shots for more accurate long range shooting and only an experienced SMG user is going to beat you in CQB.

I also love the look and feel of the AK-74u, they just made it a turd of a gun. Realistic maybe (I don't know,) but a dud compared to the other SMG's.

I liked the AK at first, but the recoil is brutal. I use the M-16 w/ reflex sight and double tap for my AR class.

Overall, RPD with front grip/double tap/steady aim is my favorite setup.

I like the AK but right now I prefer the M14. Great Med-long range and with the Desert Eagle up close it's a fun combo. I usually grab a P90 on the ground if I see one as well.

All the gun owns, it's just a matter of who's using it and what perks you're using with it.

Try the RPD it uses the same round does the same dmg and with Grip / Stopping Power and Steady Aim it is awesome.. I liked the other assult rilfe's but once I started using the RPD with Grip, nothing beat's it for it's mid range and even at close range with Steady Aim.

Thx for the tip. Today i've unlocked the grip for the RPD. Gonna try it. Good Machine gun, i prefer this one to any of the others.

And about the AK... in my hands tends to be :dead: . Really crappy, but well... i've only played this game for about 11 hours... i maybe be level 26 but i'm quite a noob yet...
I've been owned quite a few times with AKers... in good, "trained" hands, it's a winner, yes :nod: ... but not yet on my hands. :p

Same here, works great. The AK is really really unbeatable in close range in the right hands, especially against SMGs. And its really cool silenced.

I began my road to ownage with the AK-47 but I don't use it much anymore because of the recoil. The AK-74u is a pretty good gun, though. I've been using it of late and owning with it . Its not good for all maps but on some it rocks.
