This Game Sucks The Big One!!!!!

I've tried everything and cant get more than a handful of kills on a good game! I have all the unlocks but two so it's obviosly not going to get better! I wish I could get my damn money back on this crapper of a game. I always see one or two guys getting thirty or fourty kills per game...are they hacks or wtf is going on. I get last place every time i play. So someone tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong. I'm ready to uninstall this game and throw it in the trash. What a waist of fifty bucks! I'd been better off buying my wife some new kitchen towels!!!!!!

Its not a crap game to be honest, its the most fun ive had in a while, stick to a gun learn how to use it either with the iron sights or the various scopes the reflex scope seems to be quite popular.

Well, I'm sorry you're in such distress.

I'm sorry to be so blunt, but I speak the truth. The game doesn't suck. Your current play style is probably to blame.

It sounds like you may not have found what game mode, maps and weapons fit your play style.

CoD4 allows you to move out into the open and die quickly. I'd advise against that because it tends to frustrate those who do...

Start a MP game with 8-10 players only. Choose a high-ranking player and follow him around for a while -- being his 'wingman'. You'll start to see how he moves to engage the enemy, what he does to get kills and how he avoids getting killed. Learn from him and protect him from what he doesn't see. It will help make you into a better player.

If you really want to get better you can. Try to play with the same people until you start to become comfortable. Join a Tournament like Battle for Europe or A Solider's War to learn at a faster rate. It's up to you.

He just might be willing to take time to get better at the game rather than trying, failing, and giving up.

Well, i hardly ever use the same weapon twice, i'm always swapping. That was with the M4 with red dot attachment (and on hardcore mode).

You just have to find a nice comfy place overlooking the map, pitch your tent, drink some Red Bull

But in the end, camping gets boring, so you have to go on a rampage. I know a lot of people will "poo poo" this, but having a decent mouse and mouse mat really does help with reaction times :)

                    Heres my scores.
This was on a hardcore server with the M14

                    This was on a normal server with a G3 + Red.Dot scope

Camping makes for a boring gameplay experience, but a good KDR. I always keep moving, even sniping I'll relocate often. It's much more exciting.

My friend comes from Counter Strike, where you don't need ironsights (there are none) to shoot accurately, and the idea of using them throws him off and makes him suck. The gameplay is different than your common FPS.

What kind of mouse do you have and what is your average framerate?
Those to play a BIG factor.

I'm a Battlefield player, so yeah it is much more difficult to get kills and the game plays out five times faster!

                            I have a G5 gaming mouse!

                              MX518 and Steelpad S&S mousemat

I find if i have 90fps when just wandering around the map, then it will never duck below 30 when under intense graphical action.
