    - Camo doesn't mean anything gameplay wise. However cool it looks, however stealthy it looks, it's not going to make a difference. Ever.

    - Don't hold the trigger unless you are really close to the enemy (almost knife range). Tap it in short bursts - it helps in two ways: 1) keeping the accuracy 2) helping follow the target in case you aren't using an acog/reflex. Iron sights and holding the trigger are a sure way to lose the target due to muzzle flash intensity.

    - Listen. Learn to recognize the distance of the enemy based on the loudness of their footsteps and presume where they are according to that.

    - Keep the knife button close. Especially when moving through hallways and stairs where an opponent might pop right into your face.

    - Use the Map to shoot people through walls. If you have deep impact and see a red dot behind a wall, shoot it, an AK with Deep Impact will pierce through almost any cover.

    - Keep relocating. Camping in one spot is a quick way to lose a match as this game is generous on the grenades and you'll be flushed out easily unless you are up against noobs.

    - Flank. When the enemy UAV is offline or you have a jammer, don't go straight to the frontline, that is where you are expected to show up and a sniper is probably zoomed in on the corner you are about to pop out from. Instead identify the frontline and flank the enemies. Catching them by surprise always works in your favor.

-Who ever said that the pump shotty needs double tap and the Semi-auto shotty needs sleight of hand. THEY ARE WRONG! Use sleight of hand on both. If you have a shotgun, you only need to hi them once. So go for fast reloads in a pinch, over pumping faster. Really.

        I disagree
I find using double-tap on pump on much better as it makes it shoot almost as fast as an auto-shotty, and you will have double the shells loaded than the actual semi-auto. Pump-action also does more damage.

But it`s up to the players to decide what suits him more.

Steady Aim on a Sniper Rifle makes it a decent close combat weapon for emergencies. Don't rely on it too much though.

I don't see how Double tap would help, unless it was Bolt-action. Stopping Power still reigns supreme. :)

Put a Silencer on your Mini-uzi now. Using Red Dot or ACOG won't do you any good with that muzzle flash blocking your view, and the lack of appearing on the compass helps too.

It may not say it, but a silencer DOES reduce damage. In hardcore, an MP5 takes one shot to kill. With a silencer on it, it's 2

For console players, increasing the sensitivity in the options menu helps tremendously. 4 or 5 is good, but more is always better.

Putting it that way, you should always use a silencer in hardcore, but only with UAV Jammer.

                      ^^^^^

I dont see the point of using either in hardcore tbh, UAV's are rare and when you fire you only show up om the minimap for a few seconds which is plenty enough to get from one side of the map to the other.

I think that's due to range. The further away a target is, the less damage they seem to take, and so with reduced range they take reduced damage. (I think that's the deal.)

I dont know if this has been said alreday but here i go.

When you unlock the overkill perk, you can then have two primary weapons, if you use the sniper rifle as your first primary weapon then you get a ghuilli suit, you can then equip a m4, m16 or whatever and start with a ghuilli suit. thats pretty handy if your on the map owergrown.

It is. The MP5 barely makes a one hit kill in hardcore, so it doesn't take much distance until it becomes a 2 shot kill, hence making it seem like the silencer reduces damage.

Unfortunately only your primary weapon will be camouflaged
