knife stats would be cool. i also come from BF2/2142 . my only problem with the knife is its too easy to kill someone with it. even if im unloading a full clip into someone they can still run at me with a knife and kill me. it should take 2 slashes with a knife to kill not one. dont get me wrong , i love running into a room with 4-5 dudes in there and knifing all of them and never loosing pace out the back door.

The knife is supposed to be a last resort weapon, not some sort of humiliationd evice that magically gives you a trophy for each and every person you kill with it :S

Can't you guys just shoot ppl instead of having to knife everyone. I don't mind you doing, it it is genrally pretty easy to just shoot a braindead idiot in the head but yeah, if you think you benefit from being able to see who you have knifed, then yeah, go back to BF games, since this is the no dog tag for knifing ppl Call of Duty 4 and not an infantry only version of BF games.

I like knifing as much as I like shooting. If people can lauch grenades at me while I'm surrounded by their team mates, then I can very well rush in and stab them.

Some complain about the GL-spammers, others complain about the knifers. I say, let people play as they want. You aren't going to change anything by complaining. Instead, change your game play to counter what bothers you.

By padding their stats in their own little server, is that affecting you in anyway? Unless you care so much about the leaderboards that you can't stand to have some k/per in front of your name.

Because it brings statspadders to the game, in their own server or not, i dont want to play a game where stats padding is legalized because sooner or later everyone will be doing it and a once great game will be ruined.

And dont tell people to get out of a forum they have contributed far more than you and then judge on the fact that they are a kid when you yourself have only just hit the legal age to leave school.

I hear you Eliminator and you make sense. However, I just don't care about other folks stats. I use mine to give me a goal to go for, but your stats are just a recording of the games you've already played.

I care about the game I'm currently playing.

If someone really wants that Red Camo on their weapon and they find a way to cheat to get it doesn't mean they'll be able to stop my attack on their position. So, someone gets a 3 Frags perk before they are supposed to. While that sucks, I'll make it a point not to be a victim of ANY frags.

So, those players with little moral or ethical inclinations do not bother me. Cheat away, but be aware that you are setting yourselves up for failure.

legalized in the sense that it will be uncontrollable to the state of BF2.

And to Sonic, i agree with you completely, i dont really care about my stats as such but its when you get the idiots who do care that camp all round with the LMG's that piss me off.

Please don't add dogtags to this game...they were stupid enough in 2142. This game should go as far away from that as possible. Except for a decent server browser, that would be really nice.
