I see nothing wrong with doing a airstrike anywhere no matter where you spawn since it is at random and switches upon where the enemy is in the map. These are all parts of the game that you need to adapt to...cut down on dying and then that will in turn remove the airstrikes to be called in.

Not on that map. There is a set spawn area where everyone spawns within a few meters of each other (during the first few minutes of a match). You may feel justified in spawn killing, but I find it do be dishonorable. You can do it as much as you want. It just shows you lack the level of honor I respect and expect with those I play with. No skin off my teeth.

Adapt to the game by cut down on dying? Come on. Even the best players die during a fire fight against determined opponents.

I'd kick you, too. for the god damn stupid bunnyhopping because on my server you just dont do that.Specially because we are realism clan and you will never see any soldier to do that in real life.And yes i know this is just game but every server out there das have some rules pub or clan server and you should respect them.

Go play a different game, or if you want realism join the army :S

QFT!!! Realism in COD4, are you kidding me?!?! Not even BF2 nor 2142 had much of that.

Cry-Babies will always be around, and they will cry about everything - bunnyhopping, noob tubes, MP5 noob weapon, etc etc etc etc etc. I PERSONALY just wish I had 2 cents everytime someone accuses me of hacking or cries because of something I did ( IE - 4 Air strikes in a row ). Cry some more, leave the server, whatever ... I WILL STILL KICK YOUR BUTT!! :P

EDIT: You want realism, wait for Brothers in Arms. But even there people will jump around, because it's a "survival instinct" for FPS games. Learn to DEAL WITH IT or go back to Solitaire.

It isn't that I don't respect them, all they had to do was ask in a more appropriate manner...since they were dicks about it, I was just one back to them, doesn't bother me any.

I just thought it was funny that I was kicked for using in game items (jumping and airstrikes)

Great post, bunnyhopping doesn't give any real advantage in this game anyway. I'm still in the habit of crouching before firing thanks to bf2142 It's gotten me killed soooo many times

Well I think IW needs to patch it where you can't fire while jumping in the air. I think that would fix alot of problems people are having with the little wannabe "rabbits". People that jump up and down to avoid getting shot, that is bs. Jumping up once is enough. More than that, you should be gone from the server.

To most players who don't have a "win-at-all-costs" approach, bunny-hopping is generally considered pretty lame. A game doesn't have to be totally realistic, but bouncing around on the battlefield is just plain silly, and encourages others to pick up the behaviour which then degrades the game for everyone. Lord knows there's enough lame-ness in gaming out there already.

My group would probably give a single warning through text/chat, and then kick the player.

I have the "win-at-all-costs" approach.
I don't care if I bunnyhop or use a noob tube to kill stuff or simply come out victoriously.
As long as I win, I'm happy and I couldn't care less about what the others think.

I had this problem in BF, I'd consider everything that's easy very noobish and lame, so I made my own little cage of rules in whch I was locked up so I never could play to my full potential.

When I started CoD4, I said to myself that I'm going to get rid of that cage and do what it takes to win.

I get called a noob when I run into vacant with an RPG-7 or when I am the last man standing in a SnD match that we only won because of my use of "cheap" tactics.

The thing is, I don't care how cheap I played, we won and that's it, end of discussion.

My favourite class is Silenced G3, Silenced M1911, 3XFrag Grenade, UAV Jammer, Dead Silence.

As you can see it's pretty much based around silence and ambushing ppl as well as long range effectiveness because of the G3.

Acording to some ppl, the "lamest" thing I do is remap my fire function to mouse wheel up and down (which means I can almost fire full auto with the G3, making it perfect for long range as well as CQC)

I consider that pathetic, but if it makes you feel good about yourself then by all means whore it up.

Oh that also applies to the spawn bombing. If you spawn rape with air strikes, the round is pretty much ****ed up, noone enjoys it because noone plays except you because those 5 extra kills get your **** hard. Good for you.
