We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Downloaded it through one of the mirrors posted at battlefield.com and it wouldn't install. Downloaded it again through a torrent at a swedish gaming site and just the same problem. Downloaded the 3:rd BETA patch and it said I already had the latest version installed...

We're looking into this right now, and of course the first part of that is getting the incomplete file removed from large downloads. Given that the file size was different it's likely that the upload failed, something that's beyond my control. Fixing it isn't, at least.
Sincere apologies for any frustration the corrupt file caused, we're currently investigating that and any other issue reports on 1.4, I will keep you all informed.

Thats what worked for me. Uninstall/reinstall and install beta 3 patch.
I downloaded the patch from id3.....haven't installed it yet. Will try this tonight....but I'm leary after all the "success" that has been found.
Question....what does the patch do to Northern Strike? Will I have to reinstall that or will it work with the new patch without any additional steps?
I still think 2142 is a great game. I've been looking forward to this patch for a while. I'm not a huge clark guy....and I look forward to picking off all the new Clark carriers with my Ganz.
Finally! I've been waiting ages for this update. Unfortunately they're a week too late. I've already I'll ready moved on to TF2 and I might not come back to BF2142 ever, or at least for a while.
Now that the pods don't move on transporters, How are we going to get drop pins? A bunch of guys will completely miss the titan with the method i used.

I got one the other day quite easily. They just jump when your over the deck - it's no problem.

They simply let you get to close to them! See, I throw out the IDS and then I know where you are....not that a Clarker or 2 have not gotten the drop on me from time to time.:dead:
The Clark is a great gun and I'll definitely try it out with the increased ROF. Problem is so will everyone else. If you can get close to the enemy a Clark is the best weapon going....when you can't...you die. The Ganz is nice at picking off those Clarkers attempting to get close to ya!
I reinstalled the game and installed the patch and boy what fun fun I had, Highway Tampa titan kicks *** with 3 gunships
Oh man I can't wait until I can play again tomorrow! Thank god that I can't buy any other game until I get a new gfx card so I can play this game a little longer :)
Clark isn't über overpowered, it's just as it should be. Didn't notice that much of an increase in Clarkers infact. SCAR is just right now, like Krylov but with a soul of it's own.
And no connection problems or crashes! I usually have a few connection problems each time I play but I had none this evening (played about 4 hours)
wow lots replies in like 2 days anyway DICE why cant i bail out of my airplane anymore without dying its like i get attacked by a gunship am around 15 hp on fire and stuff i want to bail and i cudnt move forward as a result i got a suicide

You see, that's what I worry about... are we actually going to have no freedom of movement anymore from transport drops? We have to trust the {noob} pilots now?!
Heck, if someone wants the passengers to pod on a silo, he'd have to hover pretty down-to-ground to see where he's positioned... no more flying high around the area and letting passengers choose their own destination.
If someone could please confirm whether this happen in the patch, or if it's just a scary rumor, I'd much appreciate it. :nod:
