BF2142 Patch 1.4 - Out Now!

Fileplanet and the site I posted which is a mirror on the EA site, worked for me, so maybe people should start downloading from there and see if it works.

i got the Fileplanet version and have problems. I have zero servers. I can only see the correct servers when i uncheck the same version box. My friend who downloaded the i3d version is playing on highway tampa, when i try to join him in game it says i have an older version. I would stick with the i3d as it appears to be the only working version.

Ok so maybe the guys at Total should post the i3d mirror on the mainpage or somewhere as it seems the one that works, also as I said before you can try the Beta 3, as it is the same and is compatible.

Just Downloaded the new 1.4 patch and after install no servers to play on. Typical of EA with no release date to the community and servers. Why is this corporation so tuned out to their customer base. Just about had it with this moronic outfit!

This patch is terrible. My Gibraltar server has crashed 3 times within 2 hours.

Maybe Dice also forgot to enable people to connect to normal servers as well (I would not be surprised), or the servers have not updated to 1.40 yet (Probably because of the lack of Fixing the server crashing in server updates, From what i here from Game admin's here in Australia).

No servers here either, patches should be listed in the unistall program list like some other games I own!

Just think, in the 3 months,

when it goes bad like this,

we will have to pay an extra $10 to redownload the game, thanks to EA!

The patch from fileplanet would'nt work so I went directly to the EA website to download a new patch and was directed to multiplyUK to redownload..... downloaded that patch and after that it told me that a newer version had been installed on my computer........why am I not surprised. After 6 dbl. vodka's and much profanity I surrender. Also when redirected to my EA downloader the patch was nowhere to be found.

EA downloader requires you to dig through their files to find it... and it's only the 1.25 patch.

I already downloaded, installed, played and loved the changes.

*CLARK FTW!
*LMGs can actually kill now, so i might use them once in a while.
*Scar has low recoil like the krylov now, so using the scar is going to be a tad more fun now.

I was surprised that the number of clark users did increase. On 3 round i saw 13 and 15 guys using it. I even saw a brigadier using a Scar....... GADZOOKS

So in the past 4 months, and 3 seperate betas, not a single thing has been changed, apart from the placement of an AA gun, and the textures on a swimming pool, and now, the final version, is identical to the beta, and DICE calls this a success?

Its not a success, not a single thing has been done, this patch could have been released 4 months ago, when people still played this game, and it would have gone down a treat, but its a pointless waste of time now, but i suppose DICE allready figured that one out, when they finaly gave up on making it, and just released it anyway.


Sounds strangely familar to the way EA makes most of their games now doesn't it?
