BF2142 Patch 1.4 - Out Now!

Worked flawlessly for me. Then again, I am not downloading from crappy EA or FilePlanet.
The game seems more deadly now with all the Clark-Guys running around.
All my favorite servers were full and running 1.40. So it's probably the US that's late about updating servers.

We're looking into this right now, and of course the first part of that is getting the incomplete file removed from large downloads. Given that the file size was different it's likely that the upload failed, something that's beyond my control. Fixing it isn't, at least.

Sincere apologies for any frustration the corrupt file caused, we're currently investigating that and any other issue reports on 1.4, I will keep you all informed.

I downloaded the update from the EA servers and it works great for me. But, now they removed it.

Fileplanet and the site I posted which is a mirror on the EA site, worked for me, so maybe people should start downloading from there and see if it works.

We also have some fairly unique good news for people who already have the Final Beta Candidate installed - you don't have to do anything. The Final Beta Candidate public test was such a success that, following compatability testing, we're using the exact same version in this final release. The 1.40 Final Candidate Beta and 1.40 Final Update are fully compatible, you can consider them one and the same and use either on Battlefield 2142 1.4 servers.

Hey, that's some consolation, at least- Couldn't really play beta 3 from the U.S., but at least when I get home I can hop right inna gunship... I'm hoping we get enough new pilots testing their skills that I can finally get that gold Aerial Death-Bringer badge.
