I got kinda bored to those 750 point games already...

Just when you are getting bit warmed... Oh, it's over...

I had lot's of fun in the 2000 point server, i didn't even notice that i had been playing 2.5 hours straight...

wow 2000 pt server? where? ive noticed that alot of people are already rank 55. i even saw this dude that was 55 and he started over and he is now rank 29. he had this yellow shield behind a silver eagle for his medal. ranking up is way too easy. they need to put out some new stuff that is hard to get very soon. if not ranks then for sure new perks. i dont even know how they will do that because if my memory is right, there wasnt any room to add new perks in our barracks.

The server name was [MF]Public TDM... Or something similar...

I can't give the exact name since my pc won't start up at all... If i get it fixed, i can post the server name...

Only downside in that server is that it doesn't have PB(according to the server list)...

You couldn't of seen that, there isn't a prestige mode on PC.

Ranking should stay easy. That way people will get all the perks, weapons and other nifty things faster and servers can start rolling in custom maps, gamemodes, mods, etc.
I already have all the things unlocked and I enjoy every single minute of CoD4 without worrying about my rank.

I agree with it being one of the best ever. This and Goldrush from ET, dam those were the good days.

we need camp gibralter modded into cod, that map is probably the best multiplayer map ive ever played. And ive played that map a ridiculous number of hours :S

Well idk about you guys, but I got CoD4 to get AWAY from the maps of BF series. It just brings the noobs along with it. You'll en up getting C4 spammed and noob tubed more than anything else. They should release maybe a few more maps, a little bigger than these and we would be set.

Goldrush isnt a BF map, its an original Wold ET map that was fantatsic and would be awesome for this game.

And you cant claim that maps such as Karkand, Gibraltar although BF maps, they were excellent in design and would fit this game beautifully.

I`ve seen players with the big shield above them before.. can anyone explain why.. i reached 55 yesterday and all i got was t gold plated desert eagle for my troubles lol

Im not bored with the maps yet by any means, i think they are great, especially with all the different game modes, only thing i dont like is the size of the maps and the roofs not being accessible for snipers.

Karkand would probably be pretty fun if/when someone ports it to the COD4 universe.

yeah i will try those different game mode next time. i've been only running team death match. can i still make alot of pionts in sabotage or domination modes? what is the best mode to earn points?

yes, they are extremely small, made for 6v6. blame consoles for this.

I think these maps are the perfect size. It IS an infantry game, after all. I've played on my clan's server with 24 players and it's just the right number for a good battle without constantly being slaughtered.

I actually think this is great. Maybe people will get bored of the ranking system and not really care so when good mods and maps start coming out, people will actually play them!
