So why not go join clan orientated games ;like scrims etc?Your always going to have these sorts of problems on pub servers;at the end of the day 2142 is only a game - some players are just playing for laffs;not everyone is an ultra serious player
I hate stupid teammates

Don't wanna get tied into a clan and just play 1 server pretty much.
If i play basketball just for fun, it doesn't mean i am just going to f4ck around and start kicking the ball and try to make baskets from half court all the time. If guys want to play for laughs they should just go to unranked servers and stop messing up teams that are actually trying to win. If guys are going to play half as$ i don't know why they even botherComment

fair enough then mate but you need to realise that the level of play will never be as high as on a clan server;you wont ever get the teamwork and coordination on a pub server.I never joined a clan and probably only joined 5 good squads in all the time I played the game....I cant even play the damn game at the mo coz ISPs are *h**e in Thailand LOLComment

quite frankly clan servers demand so much coordination and good gameplay that they tire me out =D in the sense that i play the game to have fun and relax, but some clans play as if their lives depended on winning that round. takes the fun out of the game if you get screamed at for wanting to get someone's tags or rorsch him instead of safely shooting him =\Comment

Stupid teammates on the opposing team make for easy knife kills tho, but yeah, what everyone else have said.Comment

to some extent i see what your saying
im a noob but still go gung ho for silos, capture assists and what not.
im not bothered about my ratio.
but i also play in a squad and try to get squad points at the same time.
is it not sometimes good to have people that sit back abit to protect you when you take the silo?
i dunnoComment

I think the most annoying thing I see more and more often now is not careless medics or people that don't use their kits right or not play for team/squad. It's that situation where *everyone* does exactly the same thing at the same time, especially in Titan: first all drop on a silo, then they all try to sit in a gun, then all step down to defend the consoles, then when the enemy shields are down they all try to destroy one by themselves.
Sometimes you can even see them look around and wonder "...say...why are all these people following me around?...". They don't even realize, this it's *multi* player game, other people work with them too. I guess that's why it's called "commander", but since only 1 in 10 people actually take the time to command, it's no wonder no one really pays attention to their instructions (if any).
It's a really pathetic way to loose a round when the enemy Titan is less than 25% and yours nearly intact (until someone discovers that no one is defending it).Comment

YEP! Been seeing all this like crazy. Before we closed down our 2142 server, I was kicking TONS of people for stupid things that were, what I thought, no brainers.
Ive been a huge BF fanboy for years now, but I gotta say CoD4 Free-For-All FTW!
Its a sad day.

I hate medics that dont ress. Even when theres no fighting!
Me, when I play medic (wich almost all the time ) I even go ress people when theres someone shooting at me. The more boddy's we got the more pressure we can deal to a certain point.
Also the support guys who are clueless what: I need ammo means....
Crazy game sometimes :PComment

HAHAHA i'm totally loving it. half the opposing team goes gungho-clark in camp g? i choose voss/light armour/shotty/defib. there are only ~6 medics on my team so i get the emergency rescue pin real quick, its real easy to voss down bunnyhoppers or people who try to clark you 50m away, and when i feel up to the challenge i out-gun them with the herzog - less rounds yet i still own.
it's gonna be a while before i start clarking again =DComment

Yeh I know what your saying. Gotta admint that I have been a clark whore as well last weekend. Gawd I love to play with that. Setting up traps and wasting like 3 guys almost all at once. I do think of my team though. Putting ammo and infantry scanners. Picking up assault kits and ressing them.Comment

oh well... if you're an aspiring clarker i'd advice you to practice trigger discipline. sure jamming ur finger on the LMB can work now with the rof buff, but it's much mroe effective if you aim first. and never ever shoot someone 50m away unless he's fighting ur teammate =DComment
