That's the first time i've heard someone wanting a fighting commander.

I read something interesting in the 2142 stats site, that i didn't know. Commander score is based on the team score average. So if you command and fight, you are only making yourself lose points

Yup, that's right. The only reason to kill anyone is for strategic gain- defending a back flag, etc.

Here is something i hate also. The round hasn't even started and already a bunch of squads. And you know only 1 of them is going to give orders. If i were to make a squad no one would join because i would be squad 6
