BF2 Successor

Is there anything out there or on the horizon to succeed BF2? Its a great game but a little long in the tooth at this point.

COD4 is nice, but small maps and no vehicles.
Crysis...well, its not out yet and requires some serious hardware

You might want to give AIX mod a try. It has alot of refreshing new content and you can bunny hop to your hearts desire.

Alot of the mods are nicely done, but they are still the same physics and graphics under the covers. Something a little newer would be nice.

They also suffer from a limited number of servers and a small set of players.

Kinda hard to change a shooter game as far as the basics, but now PR isnt empty servers, i've never seen it weak. and it is very differnt than vanilla. so i disagree with you there
