Thought it was lame them killing off the characters. I guess they were making a point that war is hell but it was lame.

My fav would have to have been the last level as it was one of the few that really felt old school COD style.

Same here, I don't know what you call it but I get a realy sad sick fealing when Jackson dies, and I get even more pissed the way Gaz is executed in the end.


Yet IW did a great job pointing out war is hell!

But I was let down, I wanted the Marine and the others to live.

the whole marine platoon dying was fail, i felt pretty crap when jackson dies in the aftermath mission.

and how the HELL DID GRIGGS SURVIVE? WASN'T HE IN THE NUKE BLAST?

did jackson actually die? Because you get up and walk around, but then you fall back down. But you never really find out if he survived or not.. Poor guy..

Video after the part wher you drop says something like:

SGT. PAUL JACKSON LOCATED ..
STATUS: KIA ..

I haven't played out the whole thing yet, but so far my favourite missions are the AC130 and Sniper. When Mac says "It's gunna be hard taking them out without all the others noticing, but sneaksing past is unna be hard too" - I just whipped out the pistol and owned them. Then Mac started barkin on about "the word "stealth" means nothing to you, does it?"

I liked the ac 130 mission,but all ghillied up steals the crown for me,and u cant just own all those guys with just a pistol,least not on hardned mode,youll get your *** handed to you.

either price is dead, or the russian medic went too far in trying to preform CPR.

after he is pressing on his chest, you see im starting to punch it while you're being winched up in to the chopper.

SP was amazing but disappointing that all the main characters die except Soap.

and OMG I was stunned when I saw Griggs after the "One Shot, One Kill" mission!!!! how did he survive the nuke blast?

I hated the sniper mission, when you carry the guy around, phail.

The one with the nuke was fun though. AC-130 FTW, though.

I actually like that mission. That was one of my favorite missions in the game.

Wouldn't Jackson die of radiation poisoning anyway? That's what I heard. The very last mission was sad but sooooo bad***. I love how it goes into slow-motion at the last second. Phew! And I also rather liked the mission where you propel yourself down the heat vents to avoid the choppers. That was fun.:yay:

I loved *loved* the fact that main characters die, it added so much more to the game: emotion.

I'd never died in a nuclear blast before, I have now. Had my dieing mate toss me a pistol for that last stand? Check.

As experiences go, this was a virtual knockout. No pun intended.

i agree. cinematic and immersive or not the ending was a pretty big downer. kind of like the GRAW 2 ending(mostly because it wasnt very clear if Mitchell lived or not).


my favorite mission is probably the whole pripyat mission.

I was literally pissin in my pants and screaming like a little girl as I was jumping across the collapsing bridge into the warm friendly arms of dozens (hundreds?) of enemy troops firing ak47s and rpgs in my direction!!!! Then the INCREDIBLE end where as you see your buddies dying, (I was like "OMG NOOOOOO") and all hope seemed lost.......YOU SAVE THE DAY AGAINST ALL ODDS AND TOOK THAT EVIL ONE ARMED SOB OUT!!!!!!!!!1111111 :shock:
