Have you replayed the sniper mission, and shot at other random people with the .50cal instead? I did that and its pretty fun, hard as hell to get a nice aim though.

Yes, Jackson actually dies. On the brief screen, it says

Status: KIA

Or something like that

Yeah that was pretty intense, seemed like more bad guys in that plane than any other mission...but not as many as Sniper Escape....

that sniper mission is the baddest **** i've ever played or seen in any game. this game is the best ever. im gonna play it again in the hardest mode.

Thought it was lame them killing off the characters. I guess they were making a point that war is hell but it was lame.

My fav would have to have been the last level as it was one of the few that really felt old school COD style.

i agree. cinematic and immersive or not the ending was a pretty big downer. kind of like the GRAW 2 ending(mostly because it wasnt very clear if Mitchell lived or not).

my favorite mission is probably the whole pripyat mission.

I liked both sniper missions where you are back 15 yrs ago as Price. The AC130 was cool too. I really can't say that I didn't like any of the levels, they are all so well done. It a shame the game isn't longer though. Lets hope IW makes a COD5 thats better than this one.
